This Barbour jacket is one of my wardrobe's best-looking, most versatile pieces. It's cut like a slim-fit blazer, so you will likely need it in a size larger than your usual (I wear a large usually, and the XL fits me perfectly). It instantly says "person of taste and distinction" regardless of what you wear it with, so if that's the look you're going for, grab one. It is quilted but not lined or filled - I use it for cool weather, not the bitter cold. This was also much cheaper than other options. I originally bought the jacket at a department store. A couple of months later, I saw it here for $70 cheaper including shipping. I bought a second jacket here, and it arrived on time, just in time for me to return the expensive first jacket before the return window closed. One last thing - this jacket shipped from the UK wrapped in Barbour branded packaging. The department store jacket was not wrapped and had a "Made in Myanmar" tag stitched to the inside. Overall I feel much better about the product I bought here.

I bought this for my husband for Christmas and it’s a great jacket and very well made. We had to return it because it was a little snug on him but I would buy it again in another size

The jacket is well made . For a size small it cut as a large , the back of the jacket is very bulky . I am 146 pounds and 5th 11 inches . There is clear information about refundable shipping, be aware .

Love Barbour products. Full of English heritage and pedigree. I tried this exact coat on while visiting England but for one reason or another I didn’t buy it at the time, so when I got home to US I wanted to circle back around and get it. Found this on Amazon and was a little skeptical of its authenticity because the price was so low. However, I googled the seller, and they are a authorized Barbour retailer and everything seemed legitimate, so I took the risk. Glad that I did, as it’s arrived and looks and fits great. I’m 6’ tall and 215lbs with a bit of a belly, and XL was a perfect fit for me. Note that this is a super lightweight jacket and not a big, thick quilted coat. It’s not waterproof, wind proof and not a good choice for a very cold day. But it looks great and will last a lifetime. So good that I circled back and ordered a second one in blue.

I love the feel of this jacket, very soft, beautiful diamond quilt pattern. I’m 6’3” so I liked the fact that this jacket was a little long in the body. My only quibble is the sleeves were very long. I took it to a tailor who shortened them for me though and now I love the jacket.

I will start with I hate to wear coats but once the cold weather of Chicago hits you need a coat like it or not! The worst look is the guy in the ski parka with suit, this is the same guy that has on tennis shoes with a suit in the summer walking to the train. I wear a suit daily and need a functional but smart looking coat. Heavy long wool coats get dirty jumping in and out of cabs. The Barbour Liddlesdale Classic is truly a classic smart look. The coat is warm and very light weight and that is key with the ever changing temperatures in Chicago. Other companies (Brooks Brothers, Ralph Lauren) try to duplicate the look but there is only one Barbour. Ski parka guys keep it moving this is not for you!

This product does not size as advertised. The 2XL sized out as a large at best. Sent it back for immediate refund.

If you’re looking to buy this to keep you warm in winter be warned it is relatively thin. Otherwise, lovely jacket. Bit spartan on the internal pockets also. Seems like they cheaped out a little on it if I am honest.
