Living in Hawaii, the water here doesn’t taste great, but after running through these filters, it makes the water taste amazing! Better than store bought water!! No smell, clean crisp taste, easy to install and instructions to follow.

The cost of original filters for my Berkley have been hard to find and unaffordable for me. I did some research before purchasing the Purewell filters and have been using them for about 2 weeks. I'm very satisfied with the easy installation, priming , water dripping speed and taste. Best of all they were something I could afford at this time. Highly recommended.

I am pleased with my purchase. These filters are working as well as the originals, as far as I can tell. They fit my travel Berkey ,were packaged well,easy to install.

The initial filtration speed is very slow. One has to ‘prime the filter’, which takes a lot of effort. It takes me an easy half hour to 45 minutes or more to get it primed each time I install a new filter. But it works very well with the pure well water filtration. Each filter does last for aboutsix months.

I want good replacements for my Berkey. Those are not. I’m going to buy the originals.

Die originalen vielfach teureren und seit Jahren ausverkauften Aktivkohlefilter sind besser. Zwar läuft bei denen das Wasser viel langsamer durch, aber dafür schmeckt es auch wirklich besser / neutraler. Diese Purewell Filter sind in Ordnung, aber das Wasser läuft viel zu schnell durch und hat somit kaum Zeit durch die Aktivkohle gefiltert zu werden. Außerdem sind sie kürzer und viel leichter als das Original. Was ist daran so schwer einen massiven Kohleblock zu pressen? Es braucht keine 3 Stufen.

I have a Berkey water filter but couldn’t get their filters for the moment. Did a lot of research and decided to try these. My old filters were about 5 years old. I noticed a difference in water taste for sure and it tastes cleaner for sure. I got 4 filters and they fit no problem. These install easy and were well packaged. After cleaning them I installed and ran 2 full water cycles. The first one dripped slow but by the second it was filling fast. These do filter water faster than the old Berkey ones. But they seam to be doing a good job. I like the fact they also have silver incorporated into the filter as this will help to kill bacteria and viruses and keep the filter clean. Should last me many years as I have pretty clean tap water and I take them out and give them a clean scrub every few months like you’re supposed to.

A good quality product which is the same as a Berkey.

Ich habe Purewelle schon seit zwei Jahren und jetzt die schwarzen Filter aus Amerika gekauft...aber erst geht kein Wasser durch und dann beim Trinkwassertest den ich öfters mach fallen die Filter entgültig durch. Kein Unterschied zum Leitungswasser. Ärgerlich

Ich habe mir im Januar 2024 zwei neue Filter als Reserve gekauft. Heute wollte ich die alten Filter gegen die neuen Filter austauschen und es passiert: NIX! Das Wasser läuft nicht durch die Filter - aus welchem Grund auch immer. Rückgabe ist natürlich gerade abgelaufen und Amazon nimmt sich nichts davon an. Kundendienst von Purewell angeschrieben, ich bin gespannt, ob ich überhaupt eine Antwort erhalte. Kann diese Filter nicht empfehlen!
