This 15" backgammon board is the perfect size. The selection of wood in the board is beautiful. The orange and ivory pieces are the perfect accent colors. I am enjoying playing on it.

However, once I contacted Yellow Mountain Imports via their website; I received a response quite quickly. The representative was understanding of the issue and reached out in less than 12 hours and offered a replacement unit to be sent to me promptly. A quick double check of shipping address and I have another set at my doorsteps, which is for all intent and purposes in perfect condition. No tiny scratches, no misalignment, and the magnets actually hold both sides together once the set it closed.All in all, it was a pleasant interaction and the end result is a nice backgammon set for a great value. You can definitely shop with confidence that the sets are well-made and if there is an issue, customer service department will be there to aid you and resolve the issue efficiently and effectively.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Original Review: [I bought this set as a gift and when it arrived I thought to double check it before gifting it.The packaging is quite good and design is also nice. There was a tiny scratch on the outside of the board in the darker center inlaid portion. However, that can be easily addressed with a bit of polish.However, as shown in the photo, the board doesn't shut tight and it sits crookedly, which is due to the cutout for the hinges. If it was for myself, I would have begrudgingly fix the issue; alas, as it's a gift I'm not willing to chance scratching hinges. Thus, I have contacted the company to see what they are willing to do on the matter. Depending on their response, I will update my rating for better or worse.One thing to consider was the fact that this board is available through their website for US customers for less than half of what's advertised here on Amazon. Unfortunately, they don't ship to Canada.]

Backgammon fatto molto bene e raffinato.

Good priced, nicely equipped and design.Overall I think value for money is decent, but in time will look to get a more premium case.The dice are too big for the case and the pawns feel a bit cheap.Overall pretty happy for a first set.
