My wife hurt her back but wanted to walk on vacation and this cane was a godsend. The cane configuration helps her balance when she walks. When she tires she unfolds the seat and can rest. It's surprisingly comfortable. I tried it.She's 5 ft tall and 240 lbs. I'm 277 and it felt safe and stable. We recommend it!

I’ve had several back surgeries that have robbed my legs of strength-I can do about 100yds then need to sit and rest. I purchased this cane chair to take with on an Alaskan cruise and it was wonderful! Light enough to use as a cane, strong enough to hold 300lbs. Not only do I love it several people, disabled and campers, loved it too. Practical and worth every penny.

I always get complements on this cane chair. People take photos of it for friends and relatives. It is sturdy, quick to open and close, and comfortable to sit on. The single cane foot is much better than the 3 tripod legs separated.Some small tweaks and it would be perfect.The hook to hang is not as functional in real life. The cane still slides over easily. A non-slip coating would really help.The carry bag negates the fast opening benefit when used regularly (queueing etc). I added a fishing pole strap to the handle and one of the legs and can carry it easily over my shoulder.

I chose this product because I am a little on the heavier side (Many of the other products did not support my weight). It was sturdy enough that I did not feel like I was going to fall when I sat down. I have trouble with my knees and I was able to use this to help me navigate through a large convention center at my granddaughter‘s cheerleading. When I got tired, I was able to sit down. Using the seat in cane mode also really helped, it wasn’t bulky like some of the other seats appear to be and it was not heavy. I debated about this purchase because of its cost, but I am very glad I spent the money. I will definitely get use out of this.

This item is a game changer. Used it often on a European cruise and it solved a lot of my back issues when I needed to stand for a long time. Easy to use. Light weight. I had no issues with uneven terrain or cobblestones - just need to be careful when you set it up. There were no issues using it on an airplane - either with TSA or storage. Could have sold 6 of them to fellow passengers !

Perfect for my 82 year old husband. We had a cheaper one, but it fell apart and he fell. This is much sturdier without being heavy or cumbersome. He carries it right onto planes.

This cane/chair should work out great. I was on a Panama Canal cruise and we docked at Costa Rica for a tour. At one stop, we had to wait until the bus showed up for us. A fellow passenger set up her Ta Da chair and I HAD to have one. It was the perfect solution! I have Osteoporosis and my bones are weak so I need to sit down frequently. I plan to use my TaDa cane/chair for hiking in the forest also. Thanks mucho(much) for a quality product. I'm not afraid to venture out anymore!

I bought this primarily for the chair. I had gotten foot surgery and my job requires me to be on my feet (but I can sit down)so this helped a lot. The seat is so u comfortable it’s like they took the material from a McDonald’s chair out it on. It’s cheap plastic, but it easy to unfold the seat. It’s sturdy and compact, hence the extra two stars. Now I have to buy a seat comfortably because after 5 minutes of sitting down my ass already hurts
