Yemeni Bakhoor is not measured by weight, not by count. The jar contains 40 grams of bakhoor. The number of pieces may vary slightly, as each one is hand-broken and crafted in a traditional Yemeni style, not machine-cut.

No, do not light the piece of bakhoor directly. The bakhoor cannot be lit on fire but it rather needs a medium to burn. Please use the Dukhni burner or charcoal or an electric burner to burn the bakhoor.

On an electric burner, the bakhoor will last for approx 10 minutes. The bakhoor will last for 15 minutes if burned on charcoal. With Dukhni's Smokeless Candle Bakhoor Burner, the bakhoor lasts for 3 to 3.5 hours.

No, bakhoor is meant for single use. After a full session of about 3 to 3.5 hours, the fragrance oils will have completely diffused. Even if the piece still looks intact, it should be discarded and replaced with a fresh one for the next use.
