My employees like this tool a lot but I am now having to replace for the 3rd time because of issues with the gripper foot ( part 38) and I can’t reach anyone to find/ purchase replacement parts.

Sturdiest tool I have ever used
Bought this tensioner after struggling to find a reliable one for over a year. I must have tried at least 4 different ones, but they kept breaking and had other issues like letting the strap slip. Now that I got a Mul320, all the problems are gone, it works well every time. It is more expensive than the cheaper alternatives, but is certainly worth it since I don't have to replace it every couple of months. I am using 3/4 plastic strapping to secure wood products.

Definitely recommend
Excellent all in one tool. Use it frequently.

Tensioner begins to slip and shred the strapping before proper tension is achieved.
The gripper foot and gripper pad are not adjusted close enough to prevent the tensioner from slipping before the strap is properly tightened. Does not adequately tension the strapping. No adjustments are available.

Ordered 2 tools and neither one worked. You would think for what they charge, they would be functional. Definitely do not recommend
