Graphite Colors

Beautiful set to add to my watercolor stash. Worth purchasing for adding a new elements to watercolor sketchbook and fine art projects. I also like seeing how it turns out when applying a burnishing with my tortillon. The little swatch on the paper tray are also handy for a quick check during the project planning phase.

This paint makes me think of velvet. It’s so soft looking and easy to paint with. I have painting where I use it, then switch to very transparent WC and it’s beautiful together. Have an enjoyable time using these wonderful paints.

I’m an amateur artist. But I found these easy to work with. They have graphite within them, so there is a lovely shimmer. I had trouble getting extremely dark values, but I really enjoyed using these. Perfect colors for drawing subjects from nature.

I love these paints. They are very pigmented, cover well. Highly recommend.

I love the colors, although I haven’t used them in painting yet. It was the colors that attracted me! The pans are in a cardboard container and fall out easily. I think I would appreciate a more substantial case where the paint pans would be secure. Over all it’s the colors I love!!

Ally it thick and dark or sheer. It granulates wonderfully for texture and visual interest. Each pan has a different pigment color. Well worth the price.

I fell in love with the graphite and granulating paints immediately. They are so versatile and lend themselves to any colorway and genre. Exceptional quality, large pan size for large or small brushes (as do all Kuretaki paints) very affordable. I cannot find fault whether professional, hobby or student artist they will take pride of place in your gallery.

Pigments are brilliant. Deep and rich.

Ho voluto provare ad acquistare questi acquerelli per la loro particolare tonalità. Sono un acquerellista esperta e posso tranquillamente affermare che la qualità di questi colori è di livello professionale. Sono molto morbidi e pastosi. Si sciolgono facilmente. Sono molto pigmentati, pur non essendo tonalità squillanti. La grafite crea un piacevole effetto granulazione, specie se si usa un foglio ruvido e molta acqua. Consiglio l'uso di una tavolozza, per diluire adeguatamente il colore, che altrimenti rischia di diventare molto carico. Ogni colore consente un'ampia gamma di sfumature a seconda di quanto viene diluito: da molto chiara, trasparente e velata (in cui predomina il colore), fin quasi a raggiungere il nero (in cui predomina la grafite). Asciugandosi il colore diventa più spento di un tono, leggermente più chiaro e risulta opaco (tranne nei punti in cui la grafite gli conferisce un effetto metallico). Personalmente sono molto soddisfatta e penso mi ci divertirò! 😊

Schönes, gedecktes Farbset, das sich sicherlich anders verhält als westliche Aquarellfarben, mit denen ich nur bedingt Erfahrung habe, daher ist ein Vergleich an dieser Stelle nicht möglich. Die Farben lassen sich sehr gut mit Wasser auf einer extra Palette verdünnen, sodass man sich schön von hellen zu dunklen Farbtönen vorarbeiten kann. Die Mischbarkeit ist ebenfalls gegeben und völlig in Ordnung. Die Verteilung auf dem Papier ist angenehm und leichtgängig. Auch eine spätere Anlösbarkeit auf dem Papier ist gegeben. Den metallischen Effekt durch Polieren mit Silberbesteck o. ä. ist vorrangig bei starkpigmentierten, unverdünnten Farbbereichen und nur bei entsprechender Lichteinstrahlung sichtbar. Die Näpfchen sind relativ groß. Über den Füllstand und deren Haltbarkeit kann ich momentan noch keine Aussage tätigen. Bisher scheinen die Farben jedoch sehr ergiebig zu sein. Wie in anderen Rezensionen angesprochen, fehlt eine Abdeckung der Farben. Ich persönlich handhabe es so, dass die Palette nach dem Trocknen zurück in die Plastikverpackung geschoben und dort geschlossen aufbewahrt wird, sodass nichts verloren gehen kann. Preislich ist das Set für hochwertige Farben meiner Ansicht nach in Ordnung. Nicht zu vergessen ist auch, dass bei Importen aus anderen Ländern idR Einfurumsatzsteuer oder andere Zollgebühren anfallen, die unter Umständen bei entsprechend höheren Preise durch die Verkäufer abgedeckt werden, sodass das Kauferlebnis für die Kunden angenehmer wird. Insgesamt bin ich mit dem Erwerb der Farben sehr zufrieden und kann sie bisher uneingeschränkt empfehlen.
