Definitely kept my dog from biting me while I dremel his feet! Worked great I have a small dog Shih Tzu! Fits well did not hurt him at all!

This has saved my hands from being chewed off! My Shih Tzus do not like their paws being essex with, but this has become my best friend when grooming my dogs! Would recommend, best helper ever!

It didn’t work for my cat. I couldn’t get him to put it on and I didn’t want to traumatize him by forcing it. But for the few moments he did have it on, I’d say the latch isn’t quite secure enough.. he was able to take it off himself very easy.. Overall the could breathe and definitely couldn’t bite through the holes. I’d say if you have a pretty chill cat this will work great

Worked like a charm! My long hair cat, Sophie, and I have had a complicated relationship when it comes to claw clippings and sanitary shaves. I was at the point where I couldn't bring myself to try anymore. I've been stabbed bloody one too many times, despite much effort with the burrito method. Using this bite guard, she was stunned into stillness. Did not know what to do with herself for the first moments. She then proceeded to give me a very nasty review of this horrible thing that I put on her, but otherwise let me get the work done in a very efficient way. Sophie is pretty chill and forgiving despite her aggression for things she doesn't like, so it was easy to seat around her neck. Even at a point where she was fed up with me and wriggled out of my grasp, she was unable to get the guard off of her head. I checked the sizing guide and measured Sophie's neck before purchasing this product. I'm happy to say that fit perfectly based on the measurement I did. It does take a little bit of effort to get the velcro secured correctly. Not the easiest thing to use the first time around, but not difficult once you get used to it. I highly recommend this product to anyone that cannot bribe their cat into getting groomed. Great for friendly cats with persnickety temperaments!

If your cat is a fighter, this will never work! I didn't even get to try it as it arrived damaged, but I can only imagine if it cracked so easily during shipping, my monster would likely destroy it in under a minute.

It may work for some, but not my cat. She will fight as if her life depended upon it.. My granddaughter’s cat doesn’t mind it at all.. I guess it depends on the breed or temperament.. My Ragdoll is a rescue, so may have previous issues..
