Digital TDS Meter To instantly check your overall water quality, TDS = Total Dissolved Solids, are the total amount of mobile charged ions, including salts or metals dissolved in a given volume of water. This pocket-size unit is also ideal for home or laboratory hydro-electrical conductivity testing. TDS, which is based on conductivity, is expressed in parts per million (PPM) or milligrams per liter (mg/L). TSD includes any inorganic element present other than the pure water molecule (H2O) and suspended solids. TDS affects drinking water quality consumption. For drinking, the lower TDS level of the water, the better for your health. Instructions: 1. Remove the cap from the pen and turn the switch on. 2. Dip the pen into the test solution but not more than 2cm. 3. Stir the pen in the solution, then stay stable and after 2-6 seconds the TDS value will display on the screen. Press the hold button to save the value and then look at it. 4. After using, dry the head the of the pen and put the cap back on. 5. The U.S.EPA`s Maximum Contaminant Levels of TDS for human consumption is 500ppm. Please note: The body of the TDS pen should not be exposed to liquids, direct sunlight or high temperature.
