That's why they are so cheap - they are small

Soldering sticks are to small to work with

So lame.

I had a small refrigeration job to do and was out of silver solder. The rods were so much smaller than what I was used to I was worried. However it melted into the job quicker and flowed nicely too. Of course a rod went much quicker but it was just a small job.I now have to replace my air conditioner. I will use the remainder of the rods and being concerned I may not have enough I bought back-up.These rods are most affordable if you do not use silver solder much. I will only use 15% silver for refrigeration and plumbing jobs. Unless you have a perfect fit, these assure you can fill between spaces and if you are human like me and sometimes burn holes, they will fill holes.
