My concern with waterproof protectors is that they can be noisy and feel like sleeping on a plastic sheet. This protector is soft, comfortable and oh so quiet. Full marks.

Noisy and doesn't fit well on pillow top
It's quite noisy when moving around. It also doesn't fit evenly on all four sides of our pillow top mattress.
