most importantly they are actually long enough to reach my ankles ! at 6ft 1" this should not be a problem but it is with almost all the others i have tried. My only complaint is the waist elastic is not strong enough to stop them from sliding down when moving around ( Active job means i can be bending standing or sitting ) so only 4 stars.

I bought a pair of these heavyweight thermal fleece lined long johns in size XL. I have absolutely no doubt that hey are going to be great for winter wear. The length of the legs is good but the sizing is very generous for my 40 inch waist and I may have actually been able to get away with an 'L' size. Still, they are very well made and I think that it might be beneficial that they aren't so figure hugging anyway, because that leaves a capacity for more of a trapped heat barrier being retained within the inner fleece fibres.Eamonn

Every thing was fine

I have a 36 inch waist. Medium size, good fit, very comfortable. I would recommend these L/Johns

Only problem I have they are a overly large fit could have done with either 1 or 2 sizes smaller

OK, though the fleece really is lightweight, I was hoping for a proper insulating layer. Got XL as per the sizing guide, but they come up rather large, so an L would be better for me. Decent quality and washes well.
