Hides my mistakes
I installed the faux beam myself and the boards weren't long enough and I made the beam too wide.I found a similiar product to this once before that was wider but I also did a terrible job installing it.So, I tried again with this product. If it still looks shabby, it's not the products fault. I'm much happier with this attempt though. But I will say this, get some cheap super glue. The product sticks great while you are installing it. And that's helpful. But eventually, it did start to unstick at the ends. I just pulled back every end and put some super glue around the edges and it ain't going no where now.I love the little buttons you can add for decoration. You don't need super glue for those. They stick just fine.

Not sticky enough and not a full 5ft
Used these to hide seems on metal square shape. I prepped the area and stuck them on. Looked good until I came in to check on them and all had come unstuck around each corner. Not only that the roll had some sort of defect midway through reducing total length. I didn’t need the full amount but those that do, this may hinder some applications. The dots (faux studs) are too shiny, I left them off not to mention they were all over the package, they all escaped off the sheet they were on.

Works as described!
I unrolled this onto a table before cutting it and applying it to my wood beam mantle. It applied easily and gripped the wood well. No issues for me.

Very nice looking Beam straps.
I used this Beam strap to cover seams between ceiling beams. It looks like metal straps. I’m very happy with the look. However the tape doesn’t stick to the wood beams very well. I had to add additional tape/ glue to keep it adhered to the beam.

Fantastic
Before and After images includedI'm usually a tradtionalist, preferring to use only "real" materials on my home rehabs. But when 22' long x 14" deep LVLs were installed in my home I needed to find a way to affordably cover them. The cladding solution left us with seams where the boards met up. That's when I went hunting for a solution to hide them and came across this faux strapping.Once installed with three 1 x 1" Round Iron Clavos Decorative Nails per side (also purchased on Amazon) I was like, wowza! It looks like metal strapping is holding up the beams! Friends came by and couldn't believe it wasn't the real deal.I highly recommend this item (and the clavos) if you need a budget-friendly strapping solution.

Love the look but it’s NOT 5ft
Cool little project but order more than u think you’ll need as this is NOT 5ft long. I needed five 12” strips so should be exactly perfect, right? Nope. I got four strips with 4” of product left. Got a replacement and it had a defect in the middle of the roll. QC and QA could be improved but I’m happy with results.

Horrible
Looks like a belt with fake dots. Does not look like metal straping or anything.. please do not buy and please eliminate from Amazon market place. This product should have never made it off the production line. Send it back to china

Use in remote areas with poor lighting
Strapping looks more like leather than steel. Multiple “nail heads” (sticky dots) came off in packaging. Four were missing. Unrealistic appearance within a few feet
