Works great
I bought this item for my 2009 Honda Accord and had it put in by Pepboys. My car works and sounds great. The price I paid for the parts were way less that Honda parts but the quality is the same.

Compared parts before installation.
This parts unfortunately they give me the wrong bolt mounting and me with out comparing first I went and try to install but the tread are different and I ruin my cam shaft, not very happy with this quality part.

This is good however
The bolt that comes with it doesn’t seem to fit snug as the one from honda thats already on the camshaft i just reused the original one the vtc itself is good tho

Boat that came with it was not proper fit
The gear work well went fine although the Bolt did not fit went in like it was going to fit but did not tighten removed used original Bolt with lock tight and torque

Stopped start up rattle.
Stopped start up rattle on 08 Honda Accord . Typical loud rattle at the Initial startup. Replaced and now it's gone. Customer happy

vtc gear was correct, bolt supplied was not the right thread size and almost messed up the cam.
The bolt provided was not correct for my application. It is extremely close in size except for the thread pitch was not the correct one. When tighting the bolt it stripped out.thankfully it stripped the bolt threads and not the cam. The original bolt was still able to tread in and torque to the correct spec. Be ware of this. Otherwise the vtc seems to be correct and is currently working great.
