These are so far superior to the bamboo style banneton they shouldn't even be compared to each other. These are a little pricey, however they are worth it. The statement you get what you pay for applies here. Your bread doesn't stick, you don't have to wash liners, they absorb moisture. My only complaint is you can't really clean them so some of my cinnamon sugar loaf leaked and there is nothing I can do about it that one has just become the sugar loaf banneton. If you tried to clean them they peel apart like a cardboard box in the rain.

Love the banneton bread basket but seems small for 500g of flour! Love how easy the bread comes out of basket and you don’t need to season it. Wish I had ordered a bigger one! I’m very happy that this company explain the size of the banneton basket was for 500g but only when you weigh it out after. So this is why I was thinking it was too small, so I will be purchasing the bigger one since the finished product would weigh more than 500g! Very pleasant to work with them. Love the sturdiness of the basket and how easy your bread comes out! Ordered the larger 9” proofing basket and this one is just perfect for my 500g flour. After the company explained that a finished product weigh more and that’s going to fit a basket by weight and not just grams ! Made a loaf yesterday and it came out of so nice and perfect! These proofing baskets are the greatest! For the cost they are worth every penny.

I purchased 2 - 8” round banneton . When I first received the 2 Bannetons I was actually going to return them because they seemed to small. They turned out to be the perfect size. I made two loaves and I am very pleased. I used rice flour in the Bannetons and my bread dough released perfectly no sticking. I plan on purchasing two oval basket I highly recommend

I love the size, helps with a good oven spring. It’s works ok with flipping the bread out of it. Sometimes my bread get stuck, even if I flour the basket. I find better luck getting my bread out of the cheaper fabric lined baskets because the liner is flexible and can come out of the basket and then I can carefully peel off my bread.

This banneton really elevated my sourdough bread baking. I tried other bannetons and they helped but the wood pulp banneton is clearly superior. It helps dry the surface of the dough just enough, so it is much easier to score with the lame, actually cutting instead of tearing. Highly recommend.

Purchased this banneton on the recommendation of another sourdough baker & am happy with this product. It is the best shape & size for our family; easy to clean, very lightweight, and well-suited to keep a loaf cold-proofing for 24 hours.

I bought two Bulka (plain, 8 inch round) bannetons in January and have made several loaves of my sourdough bread with them. I was concerned that the material might not be durable or resistant to the low-level moisture of rising dough, but I shouldn't have worried. They have been completely up to the task without showing any kind of wear! They are perfect for my needs!
