DIGOO DG-M1X 960P Home Security Camera, IP Camera, Pan/Tilt/Zoom, 355°Horizontal & 90° Vertical Rotation Cmera With Motion Detection, Night Vision, Two-way Audio, ONVIF Support

I've seen all positive reviews, and used that as my reason for purchasing this camera. But, unfortunately I've had a bad experience attempting to get this camera up and running. I have over 20 years experience in corporate IT, so I figured it had to be something simple and I started searching their online forum. I found similar error messages (app not allowing registration on an iPhone). Their customer support people responded in the forum that as of the first week in July, the camera app on the iPhone no longer works. Their response says they are "working on it". Their "workaround" answer is to set up an account using an Android. I'm not sure how many people have both an Android phone and an iPhone. However, I tried setting it up via my PC and that partially worked. I couldn't connect to the camera although it accepted the login information. I then set up my account at their website and although I can use it to log in to their website, this won't work on the iPhone app.So even though the price was great and other reviews are excellent, that's not my experience. I'm sending it back to Amazon for a refund.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I bought this camera to assist me with monitoring the front door. I recently found someone started trashing the front door when I am not home. So I invested some money into this little cute camera that can pan/tilt/zoom. This cute camera works well on 2.4 GHz network as the network can deliver good speed at good distance, not the 5 GHz. The quality of the video/photo is quite good. It also comes with a neat app. It also supports 3rd party app like TinyCamera Pro. With the app, you can remotely control its action (pant/tilt/zoom) as in the following video.This is a GREAT BUY if you are looking for a decent camera that does not break your budget.Please press the Helpful button under this review so I know someone reads it.When I shop on Amazon I rely heavily on other people’s honest reviews to help me make the right choice on what to buy and what not to buy. Searching Amazon for a budget camera with night vision, pan and tilt with Wifi I stumbled on this. Claiming 920p, etc..The camera quality is decent, it's pretty clear, and a ideal budget camera.Few things I do not like which makes me consider a return.1 - first turning the camera on you hear this Chinese voice, that is pretty creepy considering how easy this thing is probably to hack even on a secured connection.2 - when connecting it makes a SiFi sound that is suppose to resemble a connection from outter space.3 - this thing is at first hard to connect specially if your SSID is hidden.4 - It drops connection often and the app for your mobile is mostly in Chinese.5 - I don't feel this thing is very secure and possibly opens a hole up in your network.Recommendations to future buyers, try a different camera, honestly, there is nothing great about this camera.

Flimsy design.Ultimately decided to return due to security concerns and difficulty getting it to connect.The camera cannot be accessed through the browser and your data/media is store in the "cloud".The app is sketchy and posed some security concerns for me.I didn't feel good about it being on my network or monitoring my home.I was able to get it to function once, then it failed for some reason.Spend a little more money and get a true IP camera

The DigooEye iphone App has problems. It would not even let me register an account. Contacted support, they said the software needed an update and I could wait a week for a new version, or use Android. I don't own an android device.I found a workaround, on my own though. There is another IP Camera App called YYP2P. It looks to be the very same software, it let me register and worked fine with this camera. Interestingly enough, the DigooEye app now works. This means that these two apps are using the same database, as my login created in YYP2P works find in DigooEye.Now that I've fixed this critical problem the camera works fine, but no help from Digoo.Also, I can see the camera on my wifi and also on LTE or 3G.Lastly, save yourself some time and plug the camera into your switch to configure, then you can setup the Wifi. Don't forget to change the Admin default password for your protection.

As they say - you get what you pay for. This is an inexpensive Chinese product which works for a while at a barely acceptable level. I just threw mine in the garbage after a year. The night vision is fine when it works but mine was spotty. Normal daytime viewing renderings were poor with colors washed out. I had to unplug and restart the camera every few days because it would just lock up. I just bought a different brand of wireless camera and what a huge difference a quality product makes.

After spending 2 hour plus in trying to installed such product I gave up. I had follow all the instruction from the small pamphlet to even Youtube to the home website. After installing the application as instructed from the Apps store in Apple, the applications remains in the "End Pairing WIFI, searching device" Nothing else. All it does idles for as long as I allow. I even un-installed the Application, re-set the device and it would return to the same "End Pairing WIFI, searching device"And also received the product on July 21th when I had order such on Prime day with 2 days delivery. Also the package of 3 year home security Protection has not even been received. Again what a let down.Very disappointing as the product got some great review and I follow such. Again very disappointing.
