Q: Are these long waisted enough? Do they totally and comfortably cover one's butt?

The net on the inside is a bit snug, so not sure if it's long waisted enough. I will say that I have a sizable booty and hips and I was really happy with the coverage and comfort I had.

Q: Are these chlorine protected?

No such thing.. rad shorts though.. I bought 4 pairs

Q: I’m 55inch waist and wear jeans size 44… i should order size 6X?

The sizing standards are different for different products, refer to the size chart you should choose 6X
