This is a ‘Styling’ hat!Looks good, fits good. I’m quite happy with this purchase and its price point.

Great hat for sunny days, especially if you find yourself outside all day.The main reason I removed a star is that they have used some fabric on the top of the inside of the hat as well as on the brim. I was able to remove the fabric on the top but the fabric on the brim is sewn in. My main issue with this is that it lessens airflow. The top portion traps heat so being able to remove that is great, but the portion on the brim catches air in a breeze which increases the opportunity for the hat to fly off.

Great fit for my big head and a great price! JCP wanted $60 for the same item. After my trip, I ordered a 2nd one. One thing to mention is if it gets wet it was warp a little when it dries. It's study but made with paper.

I originally rated this hat higher, noting only that the color was white, not the straw color displayed. I had momentarily tried it on, and it fit and was comfortable. I bought this for my vacation, and to my horror, when it got wet, the paste (yes, just like four-based paste) dissolved into a white slimy substance, and the lining on the inside of the hat fell out. The same paste was used to hold the shape of the hat, and it immediately took on the characteristics of a slimy wet washcloth. It was so bad, that I could not even take it home to take a picture. Dropped it into the trashcan, and washed the slimy paste off my hands. I cannot express how disappointed I was. In my haste, I went to a discount store and spent $14 on a replacement, which although not perfect, does not disintegrate when it gets wet.

Fashion and quality made without big bucks!

First, quality of the hat is good. Looks exactly like it does on the website and is one of my current favorite hats to wear when outside smoking a cigar, mowing the lawn, etc.Size is as expected as well, have a slightly larger than average head and it fit perfectly. So should be good for average->large size heads, might have an issue if you have a smaller hat size, though.
