Hail to King Conan and Prince Conn!
Loved this updated adventure with King Conan and Prince Conn with Prince Conn as a grown man. No complaints. Great story.

King Conan shines in this collection
Award winning writer Jason Aaron does a great job at capturing a restless King Conan on his quest for one more adventure. And the art by Mahmud Asrar and coloring by Matthew Wilson/Mahmud Asrar is fantastic! This does collect some of the variant covers from the six issue series that can be found throughout the trade which is a nice addition.

Just gold
Solid storyline of an aged king conan. Loved it from start to finish with the hint of future outings perhaps?

Read Conan by Aaron before this!
Great Read!

Great art, poor story
This story is quite the let down for such an epic hero's final journey into eternal legend: so unlikely for both antagonists to end up on this island at the same time, and nothing gets resolved in the end. The flashbacks are interesting though, and the art is solid, capturing the raw energy of Conan and violent mysticism of the Hyborian Age. Buy it for the art, not the story. And this from a longstanding fan of Conan's adventures in books and comics...

Epic 6 issue collection
Aaron shines here with an epic father/son dark fantasy that would make Howard himself smile. The flashback of Thoth Amon’s origin is a highlight, making this one of the finest post-Roy Thomas Conan stories. Should Conan not return to Marvel, this is an exceptional send off.
