Plenty of power, works as expected. This is a hell of a deal for this type of pc. Plenty of room to upgrade. I would recommend buying a separate m.2 drive for it, as that will speed up boot times.Great machine! Thanks!

Is fast but not as fast as my old XPS 8500! Toshiba hard drive installed is noisy (will replace with Seagate later) I hate the optical drive (they skimped on this! I wish it had a nice old drive where you just push button, it ejects @ you drop your disc in and go! Instead you get a laptop drive.Slow start up until you disable most of the programs in task manager at start up; then starts pretty fast! [I got stiffed on a new Toshiba hard drive in the past and they wouldn't honor it, that's why I'm critical of the hard drive]

Removed the PC from the box and immediately noticed that the graphic card connectors did not line up with the holes in the back plate. I had to open the PC case and re-position the graphics card. While I had the case opened I noticed that this PC did not look like the one that is advertised. Instead of a large blower and cooling fins, shown and mentioned in the information, there was only a small fan sitting on the CPU. I wondered if I had received the correct model. After 10 minutes of searching (there is no model number on the PC) I eventually found a small sticker on the box with most but not all of the model number.So I connected keyboard, mouse and power cord and turned the PC on. Eventually the Dell start screen came up and began asking for info. While filling this out it appeared that the PC went into a sleep or hibernation mode. I pressed keys, clicked the mouse and nothing. After about a minute it came back on. This continued to happen more and more frequently (it seems as the PC heated up the shut offs happened quicker) until I finally gave up. My next thought was to call Dell. I could not find a number in the little bit of info that came with the PC so I packed everything back up and am returning to Amazon (thanks Amazon for your great return policy)!

This computer was purchased to replace a 4 year old HP desktop bogged down by Windows 10. The DVD R/W drive was DOA - discovered when I tried to install my printer driver. After over an hour on-line, it was diagnosed as bad by Dell and a replacement was shipped out. An excellent local tech replaced it within 15 minutes and it ran great for about a month. Then, I was greeted by a blue screen: KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED. After waiting about an hour for it to restart, I finally had to power cycle it. From that point on, I have had no HDMI screen output, keyboard, or mouse. It would not beep, POST, or boot. A Dell phone technician diagnosed a bad motherboard and shipped out a replacement. Four days later, the local tech replaced the motherboard with NO improvement. His Dell contact requested that it be shipped back to the Dallas depot - to be returned in 7-14 days! Apparently there are problems with XPS desktops running i7-7700 processors. In the last 10 years, my previous desktops have had zero motherboard problems. I am very disappointed with the reliability.

I have over the last 20 years purchased 5 or 6 dell desktop computers. I use my computer(s) for gaming and general home email banking etc. I've always made my purchase directly through Dell and I am about to make a purchase of a new computer through Amazon as I am not going to purchase a Dell this time.PROS:-Dell has a good value on their product and when I have had issues they have at least tried to help me.-0% interest financing is a great way to purchase from them if you don't have the available cash to let go of.CONS: (the reasons I am going to purchase another brand of computer)-I have never owned a Dell that didn't have a motherboard or hard drive failure within 4 years. Maybe this is standard in the industry I don't know.-Dell comes installed with McAfee. What I have found is that McAfee is worst than a computer virus. It slowly uses more and more of your memory and constantly gives you pop-ups harassing you if you don't renew your membership. Even if you uninstall it, it will comeback to haunt you.

This Dell computer is phenomenal, it's fast, it has expand-ability and it comes equipped with so much internal programs that I can't get to them all. I previously owned an apple mini tower and I don't regret switching for the Dell.

Just the machine I wanted. Lots of power, fast and easy to use. Perfect for my needs.

I just received it, but it does not work.I opened the box, connected everything, and it turned on but showed just black screen. I tried rebooting twice and then it worked, asking me to set up for the windows.Then it asked me to restart, I did, and then it would NOT start. It turns on, but does not boot.Tried several times, but nothing. Seriously?I will have to return it.
