This is a great product, I recommend whole-heartedly. There are only a few things to know: - I wanted to use Google Assistant so I ordered the Zigbee version. This worked perfect but you need a Zigbee hub. I selected the Samsung "Smart Things" device. The "Smart Wings" blinds are preset in the "Smart Things" software so there is no guessing to get it to work with the hub. Once you setup the blinds in the software and then link the Smart Things software to Google Assistant you are good to go. - Setup was a breeze, they program the remote from the factory. If you have multiple blinds depending on the remote you select you can operate 1 or more blinds on the same channel. You only need 1 remote for setup and adjustment. - Installation was also a breeze, they include brackets that you attach to your window and the blinds just clip on. Takes 15 minutes or less and they are easy to remove. - The upper and lower limits come pre-set but you can change them with the remote. - The battery level shows in the "Smart Things" app. I recommend charging with a portable battery pack like you use for a cell phone. I put my first set in and fully charged at the end of August. They are both 60% now so I would estimate needing to charge every 3 to 6 months depending on use. If you can hide the wire the instructions note you can leave them plugged in. - The instructions are very good but online only. Comes with a QR code to scan. My recommendation is to order these if smart shades are what you are looking for. They look great, feel high quality and mine arrived on the early side of their estimates. This review is my own opinion, I paid for these with my own money so this is not a shill review.

Great vendor! I'm so glad we didn't go through a specialized company that comes out and charges a small fortune to install shades. The shades through this vendor are top quality, easy to install and the remote control worked perfectly to sync the two separate sections simultaneously. It took about an hour to attach the two separate sections to the ceiling and figure out the programming on the remote control. We ordered and tried the product first. Finding it easy to install and use and the quality of the product as expected, we placed an order for another 2 units that covered a slider in another room. The vendor kept in touch via email through the entire process. Kudos to this vendor for running a tight ship.

I have spent over $10k on smart blinds for professionally measured and installed blinds and they were terrible to operate, never level, sides frayed due to imperfect rolling. At first I was afraid these were going to be similar as they did not roll up evenly. Turns out they just shifted during shipping. Customer service was very responsive and shared a video on how to fix and it did (and was very simple)! These have a nice vinyl backing so they won’t fray like our other ones. The colour is perfect and mount so easily. I didn’t initially purchase the valance so I reached out to them to see if I could order a matching valance. With my Amazon order number they were able to find the measurements and shipped me a matching valance (I paid for it of course!). They operate so smoothly, I’m super impressed and will be buying more.

We absolutely love the smartwings blinds. We first got them for our huge bay windows after checking out the swatches. They looked so good that we replaced our regular blinds with these at other places in the house. Works well to keep light out. The remote control functionality works great. The fabric quality is great. Good color options. There are detailed instructions on how to measure and it was a super accurate fit. Gives a very clean and polished modern look. And the customer service is great as well. Great product and would absolutely recommend it.

After ordering my first set of smartwings shades, I was impressed with the product and the ease of installation and setup with Alexa and home automation system. After about a month of use, one of the four blinds I had ordered suddenly quit working. After charging the battery again from the initial charge, it started working again but to my disappointment only for a day. I contacted customer service, they sent me a few links for videos of trouble shooting, none of which fixed the problem. They ordered me a replacement motor and battery and shipped it to me and sent me a video of how to change the motor out. Problem solved. Accounting for the time difference they responded to my questions and concerns immediately and solved my problem with no hassle or resistance. With my experience with smartwings, when it was time to upgrade my shades in our bedroom I knew exactly where I was going to order them from. This time changing to light blocking shades and a different color. Ordering was convenient and easy with a follow up email to confirm how I had taken my measurements for the width of the windows. After expected amount of time for shipping I received my second order of shades, however during the unpacking of the shades I noticed they were marked with an unusual length dimension, one I know I didn’t enter on my order. However once your order is placed unless you screenshot your order before finalizing you can not go back and see what you input during the order process. I preceded to install the new blinds and as I ran them down to confirm the fit, they stopped about 2 inches short of the bottom of the window. I again sent a message to smartwings customer service along with pictures showing the installation and the gap remaining. They sent me another link to a video to adjust the limit of the motor in the down position. However after fully extended to the limit of the material there was still a gap, letting light in defeating the blackout shade purpose. I sent those pictures along with the length that I believe I had ordered. The next morning I received a message letting me know they had reordered my shade materials and that I should see a tracking number for shipping soon. The day after that I received the tracking number. Again after a short time waiting on production and shipping I received three new shades the length I needed and installed them simply following the video. They are now exactly what I needed and wanted. While no company is perfect Smartwings worked diligently to make sure my issues were resolved and that I was happy with my shades. I am completely satisfied with the product and the customer service I received when I had a problem. I could not be happier and fully recommend Smartwings shades.

Amazing quality! Easy to install & extremely well built! We love them! Worth every penny especially for our 12’ wide by 8’ tall sliders!
