It's perfect!
I love this rug. I spent months stalking multiple online sites for area rugs before I found this one on amazon. I was a little worried that the price was so low compared to the over rugs I saw at this size (8x10). I needed a thick and comfy rug for my living room for my son who has severe sensory issues. We all love how soft and comfy this rug is. I bought a very thick nonslip rug pad to go under it for extra cushion and it made a huge difference. I vacuum this rug almost every day and it still looks brand new. I get so many compliments when company comes over (after I hide all of the kid toys for the night and it can be seen again).Another reviewer complained about the size of the pattern but I think it is perfect. It wouldn't right if the pattern was smaller due to the shag material of the rug. By this rug, you won't be sorry. It unrolled nicely without any chemical smells and I placed heavy toys on the corners for one night and that's all it needed to lay flat. It is heavy enough not to move much on it's own but I recommend a rug pad to extend the life of the rug.

Beautiful
This was delivered today. I had initally canceled it with Amazon but was too late it had already shipped and I am so glad it did. I got the 9x13 and it is so beautiful and soft. I love this rug...and I'm glad it worked out because returning it may not have been an option it's heavy...lol!! I am actually going to by a runner for the hallway I love this so much….I’ve had this rug for 4 years now and I love it so much that I’m considering getting the same exact rug again. It is cream so there are parts where they aren’t as cream any more. I’ve had it professionally cleaned and it looks great but I think at year 5 I’m going to get a fresh new one and NO SHOES this time!!!

FABULOUS AREA RUG
I rarely take the time to submit a review, but was excited to do so for this rug. I ordered the 8 x 10, but had not measured correctly, so ended up returning it and ordered the 11 x 14 instead. That is what the picture is of. It's SO soft and it laid flat the minute I put it down. There is no shedding, which I do have with another area rug I have had for 2 years. The colors are super. Safavieh makes quality rugs, so you can never go wrong with this brand. And what a great price!!! Love, love, love this rug!!! Thanks Amazon.com!

8x10 gray (gray/blueish) and beige rug
This rug is really nice! Nice and heavy and the color was true to PICTURES, although not true to the description of "gray" because it is more of a blue-gray but I already expected that from looking at the picture itself. I also like the pattern in person. The rug is very soft and plushy, in fact I'm laying on it right now while I'm writing this review 😉. The ONLY thing I can say I dislike is that the fibers have a little bit of a sheen to them (see third picture) which I think can make a carpet look a little cheaper but it's not a bad sheen at all. Probably something that will wear off a little with traffic and vacuuming. The rug didn't have a funky smell like some rugs will have when you first unroll them. Overall I think this is a pretty fair price and a good product!

Great rug at an affordable price!
I love this rug! So plush! And so very pretty! I am thankful to have found something so affordable that feels and looks so plush and elegant. The swirl design is very pretty! I did have to work at the ends of it a little after removing it from the roll in the box. Some of the "shag" was pushed down but it is nicely unfolding/laying now that it's been a week or so in my foyer. Beautiful product! Very happy with my purchase!

Quality and thickness is BOMB!
The brand speaks for itself. Visit their page. Now pls ignore my old comforter as my new one is on the way. I wanted to wait to get my nice comforter before posting but this review is NOT about that it is about that beautiful Safavieh Florida Shag Collection rug underneath my bed. This rug feels wayyyy more softer than my brand new carpet alone. The thickness is good I need a better vacuum for it. True to color, quality and rich looking for the price. Deserve all five times five stars.

The best rug I purchased so far
I bought this rug four years back and I obsoletely love it. We have it in our sunroom as you all can see it still looks new after extensive use, oh I almost forgot to mention I have two boys who are now 9 and 5 yrs. our sunroom floor is really cold in the winters that’s the main reason we purchased this rug and it did 100% justice for our cause. Its little expensive but it’s worth every penny.
