You cannot ask for any better hardware. Hinges were squared and looked great.

Screws snap in half
I saw the other one-star review, went ahead and ordered the hinges anyway. The screws are extremely soft, and the very first one broke, half of it stuck inside the oak box that I spent many days making. I managed to drive one screw to full depth, then the next one broke again. That's when I stopped and came back here to look for a screw extractor, but thought I'd leave a note here first.

I highly recommend these hinges!!
When you cut your threads with the supplied steel screw, I recommend adding paste wax. Also be sure to lube the brass screws as well! I took this tip from YouTube and these hinges installed flawlessly.

Absolutely pathetic. After drilling guide holes
Absolutely pathetic. After drilling guide holes, I STILL had 3 screws break right in half, inside my project, and effectively ruining it.. No fault of my own -- I have drilled thousands of screws, and am no stranger to brass. The is a disgrace to an "American made" product. It has the quality of cheap out-sourced nonsense for absurdly expensive quality. I am unfathomably disappointed. I will be be using other brands from this point forward, and encouraging all of my students and friends to stay away from Brusso.
