Ready Seal100 Clear, 1-Gallon Exterior Wood Stain and Sealer, 1 gallon (Packaging may vary)

It appears that this is one of the only wood sealers that do not require an air temperature, for at least 48 hours, of over 45 degrees. I'm prepping posts for a pergola I'm building this coming spring in my garage - and it hasn't seen two days of over 45 degrees for many weeks. Thanks Ready Seal!

Needed some sealer for cedar porch posts. Lowes was always out of product so looked online and found the same sealer for less. Applied with good brush and looked great. Been over a month now and posts still look great. Good value for the money and was delivered faster than Lowes.

This product CAN NOT be used for the applications listed/advertised on the container and in web product descriptions. The ready seal 100 "clear" is advertised for decks, gazebos, fences and shake shingle roofs. The product is actually ONLY for "interior" applications and will fail when used on the exterior of structures. I contacted the manufacturer and was told that "All Ready Seal products are shipped and advertised with a "generic label" ............WHAT!!!?? Furthermore, the factory representative said it was up to the consumer to call and verify if any products purchased actually matched the use/application/description in the advertising and or the labeling. Buyer beware as this is an unethical company and falsely advertises and mislabels their products. The rep I spoke to in their Texas facility and said I was out of luck regarding my purchase and I should have called them before I trusted their labeling or advertising.

I recently stripped my deck and it looked great. A nice bright raw wood. 2 coats of this "clear" had this looking very dark (initially). I was worried. But fear not after 3 days or so it was nice bright and light again. Updated thisreview from 2 stars to 4.

I had 200 feet of Cedar fence installed and wanted something that made the fence look good. I did some research and Ready Seal kept coming up as highly recommended. I applied it with a pressure sprayer that I got from Lowes for this application and it went on very easily. I first tried the the Natural Cedar color but it was too dark and red. I really just wanted to enhance the natural grains of the wood. The Clear color went on easily, enhanced the natural grain of the wood and looks really nice. I put on two coats which deepened the wood grain. I don't know about durability but I like the look and ease of application.

I purchased this product with the intent of sealing outdoor furniture made out of Cedar. It went on extremely easy with a sprayer. Even though this is a clear sealer it’s still gave the wood a great glow and brought out the wood grain. Took two or three days to dry. It’s been a month and furniture still looks great.

Finished my outdoor chairs with it. Very good

It went on easily but was oily. I have no idea if it will protect my wood.
