The difference is in the essential oils. Both have USDA Organic essential oils. Some help to "Relax" and some help to "Sleep". And also they smell different. You can choose according to your preference of Essential oils & smell.

I didn't notice my tub being slippery. It was no different than using regular epsom salts, I didn't feel any "oil." I enjoy relaxing in a magnesium bath, its good for my muscles and helps me sleep. Good luck.
