I love it! My husband wears it too and its his 'go to' brand for surfing. Keeps me from burning and my son too. stays on and does not sting your eyes. what more could you want?

This came as a surprise to me- it's very pale. Which, in some cases is good! Like when I feel a little more "goth" I can achieve a more white complexion. It's very thick and kinda hard to blend, but you need to keep working at it to blend it. It smells like sunscreen- nothing amazing about the smell or consistency. Only buy this if you're looking for that Goth look, because it will make your skin more pale.

As is the nature with mineral sunscreens, this *does* have a white cast. Unlike most mineral sun screens, the white cast on this is more of a pale glow (how goth) rather than a dry chalkiness. If you're using this on your face under makeup, this probably won't be an issue. I have less of an issue with the cast on my arms (no hairline or facial contours to worry about), but I unfortunately can't comment on how well this would work out for deeper skin tones. I find I have to let this set on my skin for 15-20 mins because it's more moisture rich than other mineral sunscreens, so it can can transfer for a little while. You should be waiting that long for all sunscreens to set, but it's more noticeable with this one.Out of all the mineral sun screens I've tried, Goth Block is the easiest to spread and sheer out. The texture is creamier rather than the paste-like feeling I get with other mineral sun screens and this doesn't dry out or irritate my skin. Ingredients wise, it has none of the drying alcohols and no fragrances, but plenty of skin beneficial ingredients. There are so many "good" ingredients that they are probably in very small amounts, but I think a large combo of small amounts of antioxidants is better than nothing.If you really can't take the white cast, I suggest looking into a chemical sun screen, which tend to be much more sheer. Why use a mineral sunscreen when chemical sunscreens are more sheer on the skin? Some people have sensitive skin with chemical sunscreens (something to consider if you're using sun screen every day). Chemical sun screens can have negative effects on marine life, and should be avoided if you want to use sun screen at the beach.
