Great protector and support! I installed mine incorrectly and they sent me a free replacement. Plus you get 2 protectors
I gave up on screen protectors a long time ago. They peel, get bubbles below them and feel wrong. I got this for my iPad and it's just great. It is tempered glass. It comes out looking like a flimsy sheet of plastic. It doesn't feel like plastic and while it feels different then your device screen, it does feel like glass -- because it is glass. Any scratches you pick up and can't live with can be remedied by a new sheet. It's supposed to protect against drops, though I'm not sure how much protection it provides. Videos I've seen show them dropping steel balls on it and the protector cracks in a spider web pattern, just like real glass. They removed it and the original screen is safe and sound. Only a few companies in Japan make this glass so all of the vendors that sell these buy large sheets and cut them to spec, so no matter what you get it's going to be pretty much the same. What sets the vendors apart is how they cut them. Avoid the ones that have partial cutouts (don't use circles for the home button). I really like this amFilm I bought on Amazon. Fakespot says their reviews are genuine. I messed up my installation (I didn't follow the instructions) and contacted the company. They responded immediately and asked me to give them my order number and a picture of the problem. They are sending me a replacement free of charge, even though it was my fault. Many vendors only give you one protector. This one gives you two. This protector also has a feature that others that I've tried don't have; it comes with "installation wings", which are little tabs on each end of the protector. When you remove the film backing covering the sticky "face down" side of the protector, these wings give you a way of holding and positioning the protector before pressing it to the device. It makes a BIG difference in terms of lining it up the cutouts and corners of the device. Without it you have little way of positioning the protector and you are much more likely to not stick it right the first time and increase the risk of getting dust and/or fingerprints on the device or bottom part of the protector. This is perhaps the #1 reason you should pick a protector that has these wings. I suppose you could create your own by using some tape and putting it on the top, but these are clear so are easy to see. When installing these, do it in the bathroom after you take a shower. The steam helps zap dust particles so you won't get dust between the phone's screen and the tempered glass. When cleaning your screen, take your time. Clean it several times with a damp cloth or eyeglass cleaner. Then use the alcohol swabs that comes with this then dry it with the dry cloth they also provide. The instructions don't mention the following tip, but this is probably more useful than working in a steam filled room. Take a strip of regular packing tape (not the type you have to wet) and pull the two ends together so the sticky part is facing down, and gently blot your screen all over to remove any dust particles that might be on the surface. It gets rid of any dust particles that might be leftover after cleaning. Take your time and cover every single square inch. Do it at least twice. When applying the protector, use the "wings" on the applicator to line up the cutouts for the home button and camera. Make sure you also have the four corners exactly in place. Once you've placed it onto the device, take a finger and swipe across the middle of the device, lengthwise. It will magically push the air out towards the ends. Then use a credit card to push out any remaining air bubbles. My only beef with this kit is the little card they give you to squeegee out the air bubbles is too flimsy. Then remove the top sheet and you're done. If you have any remaining air bubbles, squeegee those out as well. Don't worry if you still have some bubbles near the edges. I had a few but they disappeared overnight.

This should have been 5-Stars! - Now it is!!!
I purchased the screen protector for a 10.5” iPad Pro. It was a replacement for the original that I had on it when the ipad was new. I have a Logitech keyboard case on it, and accidentally dropped the ipad on a tile floor. It landed face down, the edge of the glass screen protector cracked in a couple of places, but stayed intact and I thought perhaps the screen of the ipad had cracked underneath, there was no way of knowing until I ordered a new screen protector and removed the old one. When I got ready to remove it, I started looking for a number to contact the company to ask them for the safest way to remove the old screen protector in case the screen was damaged. There wasn’t one on the packaging or instructions. I went to their website, no number. They had a email, so I requested that someone contact me and no one replied. There wasn’t a tech person that offered on-line support. I went to YouTube, they had instructions for other products from consumers, but not the company. No one addressed the concern I had. Two days had gone by, no response from the company. I went ahead and removed the product myself, carefully. There was not a crack in my screen. The instructions were printed in such small print they were unreadable. So, I tried to put the new screen on and it had a ton of bubbles. I tried over and over to wipe them out with the cardboard piece that was included with no luck. That didn’t work. So, I tossed that one aside and opened the second screen protector. I had it lined up and ready to go. It was perfectly lined up, but still had a ton of bubbles. When I pulled the second sheet off, it was incredibly tacky. Brilliant! I flipped it over, and it went right in place. ALL of this could have been avoided with two things. 1. Instructions that are large enough to read. 2. Phone number to call for questions OR a response to emails when a customer has a question. The unfortunate thing is that I have bought this same product for my previous ipad. For three different iPhones for myself, and for gifts. I never had a problem before. Just a little consideration would have made all of the difference. Now that I know how bad the customer service is, I won’t be as quick to recommend your product. How disappointing. And now I don’t have a backup which was the purpose for the “two” screen protectors!EDIT: I dropped it again. The protector cracked by my ipad did not, it was saved by the TechMatte screen protector. I did look at a YT video before installing this time. I no longer have tile floors, but I feel better knowing that I have a product on my devices that will hold up. TechMatte, you’re a 5-star product from now on. Thank you!
