Would this work with any headphones like beats or apple headphones?

The mic doesn’t work with any Apple headphones or any headphones intended to act specifically as an Apple headset. If you’re using Bose headphones, you have to make certain you use the Android version.

Hello. I have both a PS4 and Xbox One. I was given the PS4 Gold Headset for a present. I was curious would this work with them? Thank you.

I use my PS4 Gold headset to listen to the sound (plugged in using adapter, or Elite controller). The mic does not seem to work with the Xbox, and it disables the Kinect.

There are a40s with multiple interfaces. If you get a40s which are designed for the xbox one, this part is unnecessary. Otherwise, they will be compatible if they have a 3.5mm headphone plug with 4 conductors.
