Finally, a book that talks business but from the reality point of view, Tony has built astonishing things himself. He is telling us about every single thing you can face in such a journey in detail and most importantly in a real fashion. Unlike other business books which are written for motivation and contain many fictional scenarios, the reality in this book makes you realize a ton of things, it was a very excitement read and I enjoyed it to the limits. If you just curios about how great products like iPod, iPhone, and many other earlier inventions that lived way earlier, or if you want to have the advice that will actually help your business to stay on track, this book is just the right one for you

Finished this book in a few days. Very easy to read and has many important lessons. A must read for designers and product managers.

You learn leadership, starting a business, teams, communication, marketing, delegation. So with all this learning you'd think this would be boring. Nope, great stories, not didactic words. You learn from example and learn a bit of history. Also mild inside baseball of silicon valley and Apple.

Usually, nonfiction books on innovation, startups, career (etc) are written from either a theoretical or a practical viewpoint. The first a tough-to-read generic framework; the second fun to read, but mostly n=1 examples that somehow worked out in the best way possible (survivorship bias). This book hit the sweet spot between both approaches. Not only inspiring, it also provides actually useful pointers. Thus: pragmatic. On a separate note. Having read the Steve Jobs biography (by Walter Isaacson) and the Bill Campbell biography ('Trillion Dollar Coach') turned out extra pleasurable. It felt like a guest appearance of familiar characters from a TV show you finished watching, in the show you're currently enjoying. Anyway, I've recommended (insisted) the book to a number of friends. None of them complained as of yet...
