I bought 2 of these to stain a block wall and wore them both out and threw them away. It was an oil stain and I wanted cheap brushes I wouldn't have to clean. These fit the bill perfectly!

I used the brush to whitewash brick. It was perfect and the shorter bristles worked great.

Bristles frequently come out of brush when painting with oil-based paint. Painting a normal dining table we had to stop and pick out 20-30 bristles during one coat.
