Q: Can these birds handle the wind?

I used the anchors in the package go on the feet and purchased additional stakes for extra support. So they have not been affected by the wind.

Q: Are these vulnerable?

No. In fact they are very sturdy. You would have to bang them pretty hard to damage them.

Q: Has anybody experienced discoloration after your birds have been outside?

My two flamingos were outside all summer long until the fall last year with no discoloration or rusting. If you are worried about them discoloring, I’m sure a protective coating would be a good idea.
