RV Ladder
Only tested once to date, but seems a great value for the money. We keep it in out Motorhome, which it's perfect for. It's compact, versatile and strong. You have limited space in a camper, so all space is valuable and you want to fill it with quality items that can perform multiple functions if possible. This fits the bill.

It does what it claims
This is a sturdy ladder, as long as you're not too heavy. It is true that extending and contracting it could hurt your fingers if you're not careful. But the same is true of using your cooktop! You simply need to be a little careful so that your fingers don't get caught.

Too flimsy
I gave it 4 stars because it is light-weight so easy to maneuver. But NO stars - very shaky and unsteady as you climb it. NOT SAFE! Not worth the money or time spent re-packing because you'll end up returning it.

Fantastic Ladder, but it is heavy
Very sturdy ladder and the ability to extend to any intermediary height is fantastic. Mechanism to open / close is fantastic. The ladder is much much heaver than a typical fiberglass or aluminum "A" frame ladder so moving it is a challenge. However, I am pleased that I purchased this as it stores in a small area.

Almost what I wanted
I really love the build and idea of this ladder. I am looking for a V ladder that telescopes and locks in place. While it's not lightweight you wouldn't expect a ladder this size to be lightweight if it's durable it must stand the bumps and knocks. I believe this ladder would certainly do that. It's a great big ladder that collapses quite small which is an amazing plus. My only ding on it was that while it locks when fully extended in V formation, it doesn't lock as a five foot or intermediary V ladder. This makes it open up and is less stable unless you have it fully extended. I'd highly recommend it if you always want the ladder opened up and fully extended. I'm certain this would be the case for many people, but I wanted one that locks at each step so I can make it any size I wish. Well made and quality from what I could see, but it wasn't exactly what I expected. I opened it up and don't have full use information as I wanted to send it back in perfect shape. If you don't need the intermediary locking then I couldn't recommend it more based on my short experience it's a great piece of equipment. I have a Little Giant type of Cosco ladder that does all sorts of things but doesn't collapse into a tiny ladder like this one but allows me to use it at different sizes. When they make this one with locking points as you extend it I'll be over the moon.

not that small or light... or sturdy.
save headaches, backaches and your life by getting a little-giant style which is lighter, way sturdier and packs down almost as small... at max extension, this was far too unstable.

Real good ladder
Stable, compact, good reach, not too heavy. This has become my go to ladder, whether I just need a stepstool to swap a lightbulb or to go on the house roof/gutters.

Useful tool
As anticipated, stores in small spaces and appears to be a robust ladder. It is heavier than a sliding aluminum ladder and the knuckle joint does flex more than expected.
