I bought this to use as a nonslip mat for my router. It works great. I can put my project on the mat, rout around it, and neither project nor the mat move on the table. I also use a piece of it under my laptop on my lap desk. The laptop stays where it is suppose to. I also use it on my carving desk to keep my carvings from moving around while I carve on them. It is also very easy to clean with a damp cloth. Great stuff!

The material is pefect for what I needed, better than black and it actually makes it easier to work on with the white color. The lighting improved which helps when working with small items if you ever drop something, not as difficult to find with this color and texture. It's on the softer side, almost as though someone emptied out a tube of silicone and then took a rolling pin to it. I really like it.

After reading the reviews on these mats, I decided to take a leap of faith and see them for myself. We have two workbenches in the garage, different lengths and widths. The larger workbench is 24” wide and 72” long so the mat was wide enough but too short. The smaller workbench is only 19” wide and 48” long. I knew that I would be able to trim from the smaller one and use the piece for the longer one to make up the shortage.First, I read many reviews stating that they needed larger shears or other tools to cut them. I simply used a sharp pair of regular scissors and had NO problem whatsoever. As a matter of fact, I found that after making a small cut in the end that I could just push the scissors along as you do for wrapping paper. Obviously your scissors need to be sharp and perhaps this dulled them some, but it was very easy.Second, the mats I received do not allow the wooden workbench surface to show through. They are a milky/cloudy materical. This was not important to us so I have no problem with it, but don’t expect them to be clear.Third, be sure and thoroughly wash/dust your workbench top and then wipe down the silicone mats with a damp cloth before placing them on the top. I read a few reviews about how everything gets stuck in these and did originally have the dust particles stick to them. It very easily wipes off though. So be sure your surface is clean and that there’s nothing underneath your mat. The top can be easily maintained by wiping it with a cloth dampened with plain water. Mind you, we are not using a saw or making other serious messes on these so I can’t speak to how easy it is to remove that sort of thing. I can only speak to regular dust and particles and plenty of dog hair since we groom on the smaller bench.The slight tackiness to the touch is what helps them to stay in place on the workbench. I was able to line up the smaller piece that I had to cut and placed it without having to glue or tape them together. So far very happy with this purchase. They do have some marks in them but it’s a workbench. Far worse will happen.

I use this as a cover for my hobby bench where water is involved. It works just fine. It does stain easily but that isn't a problem. I am happy with my purchase.

I bought one of these in 2020; I was very happy with it. However, my wife recently ordered us a second mat, and the decline in quality from the 2020 edition is *stark*.The mat from this year is so thin as to be almost transparent. I measured it with calipers--far from being 1/8" thick, as the product description repeatedly claims, this mat doesn't even reach 1/16" in thickness! I would not--and do not--trust it to protect my floors. What's more, the fact that it's so thin makes it incredibly annoying to try to clean with a vacuum. The fact that this mat's price has somehow *increased* while containing less than half the advertised material is just the final insult.Do not buy this; I'll be returning mine shortly.

Bought this as a gift for my husband, to protect his workbench. He was thrilled to have one mat that is the right length and width - no more taping down paper, then taping two silicone mats over the paper. No more hoping the tape would be enough to cover the gaps between the mats that are not quite the right size. This item is significantly thicker than anything we found through other sources (craft, hardware, and big box places). Fantastic solution!!!

There's not much to say about it except it is a silicone mat, it's pretty hefty and it works as advertised. Stays in place, protects the bench, if I need another I'll order one of these.
