I recently received a Border Collie from a friend of a relative and all the hair and shedding that comes with it. My old dog brush fell apart trying to keep my new buddy groomed and I needed something up to the task. After asking around on different forums, this brush kept coming up again and again. After having used this, I get it now.It just keeps removing more and more fur, but my dog looks better. I didn't even know so much hair could fit on a dog. I didn't know how bad of a job I was doing with my old brush, because my Border Collie looks so clean and sleek now.This brush is easy to use. Just comb along the growth of the fur, regularly remove fur from the comb, and try to get as much of the body as you can. There's plenty of video tutorials online that can give better instructions than I can, but this brush really has made a massive difference in my dog's appearance and its quick to clean.

I bought an item identical to this several years ago, but it finally broke and was no longer available so I just replaced it with this one.Both work miracles. The claw side of the brush is great at excavating hair from my cat with a really thick coat, and the comb side is better for my thinner coated cat.I ordered the large then realized the small would have been better for my cats and probably toy dogs, but for medium to large dogs and maybe Maine Coons, I'd recommend the large.I can't speak to its durability yet.

I have a Great Pyrenees who sheds like crazy all year long. I have multiple brushes because she has a double coat. This brush however works on both and it works extremely well. It is worth buying!The pictures are after one session of brushing, which we do daily during high shedding times. She enjoys her spa treatments.

I doggie sit 2 large dogs.One's a husky mix and has so much hair.This gets all the thick undergrowth out and he looks and feels so much better.Best I have ever used.
