Perfect fit
I've been a teeth grinder + clincher for since I was a child (47 now). I've tried every single mouth guard, from mold at home to expensive dentist ones. I always end up taking them out in my sleep. My dentist has kept telling me to wear one, even for a little bit. I knew the mold at home wasn't an option as they're always so thick. I read reviews on every single one of this brand and the general consensus was this was particular one was the smallest fit (I have a small mouth & it's right in the back). It fit right out of the package, no need to adjust! So far it's stayed in every night & it's comfortable. And after skipping a night I noticed a difference (not for the good). It's a win on this one!

effective and inexpensive
These are the only mouth guards that prevent me from excessive teeth grinding during sleep. I have tried professionally molded versions and OTC versions. These are the perfect thickness, and easy to use. They separate my teeth just enough. Also, because the cost is low, I can toss one every couple of months.

NOT for teeth grinders!
I had a bite plate custom made by my dentist, but it no longer fit once I had veneers done. They completely changed my bite!I wanted something more “cost friendly”, and I didn’t want to mess with the “boil to fit” kits, so so I purchased this.It didn’t prevent me from grinding my teeth in my sleep. It did provide a flat surface between my upper and lower teeth. This, in turn, provided a flat surface/point of contact for them. I actually “managed” to flatten out a corner of a GOLD crown on an upper molar while grinding my teeth😵💫Real “cost effective”…now I need a new crown in addition to a custom bite plate! If you go for an over-the-counter bite plate, get one of the “boil to fit” kits.I’ve “lived” it. I hope you “learn” from my error in judgement!

Not for very small mouths, but can be adjusted
I had to trim a section of the part that sticks between my teeth because it left no room for my tongue. I narrowed the front half of the plate to compensate for my smaller teeth in the front of my mouth. I have tried other brands and more expensive versions from this company, and this is the best I have found. I also wear it upside down because the front piece was hurting my lower gum. My upper gum seems more sturdy and does not develop sores. While the protective part can be pushed forward for smaller mouths, it obviously was not developed for people like me. Many items do not think about adults under five feet tall, and I have heard the same thing about particularly tall adults. There is no such thing as one size fits all.

Not perfect, but not bad!
I am trying different products to help me with my clenching and teeth grinding. I am trying to avoid paying $500 for a mouth guard from the dentist. First I had tried a classic boil and bite mouth guard, which worked well except I’m a total mouth breather at night and it blocked my air flow. This was the next thing I tried. Keep in mind, this is a cheap option and it’s not customized, so I already knew it wouldn’t be totally perfect. It’s definitely small, and the adjustment doesn’t really make it much bigger. I’d say it is just barely big enough to work for me at the biggest adjustment, I’m a woman in my 30s with a somewhat big head/jaw. At first it seemed really flimsy and I felt like there was no way it would stay in place or be comfortable. The instructions say to let it sit in your mouth for a bit so your body temp heats it up and makes it flex. I decided to pop it in and see if it would be comfortable while I was just hanging out in the day time. It definitely got more comfortable after being in my mouth for a big, and seemed to mold to my mouth a little bit. I’m excited to sleep with it tonight to see if it stays all night. Though it’s not perfect, I don’t necessarily regret trying it. A customized mouth guard would likely be more comfortable, but it would be 25x the cost of this product. Worth trying if you’re looking for a budget solution.

Relief! I've used it for ~2months straight w 3weeks of international travel and I love it
Super easy to use and ended up being simple to adjust to wearing. Very thin design! I was actually nervous it wouldn't hold up. I've tried about seven different sleeping mouth guards for grinding and I've ended spitting them out in the middle of the night, or they're just so deeply uncomfortable or difficult to mold to my jacked up teeth. This is a winner for me! It's also helped me become more aware of how often I clench my teeth in general because of how the bite pads are designed, so that's nice.I have not yet gotten an opinion from a dentist on the state of my grinding now after using this guard, however my partner says the only thing I do now is ocassionally lightly snore. I used to wake her up with the grinding, so I'll take it!There were a couple times in the early days that I woke up from having shoved the guard to the sides of my mouth and was grinding my teeth a bit, but was able to correct. I started putting the guard in maybe like half an hour before I actively try to sleep--i.e., reading a book or scrolling before bed, talking with my partner (yes, you can talk clearly with it in your mouth!), watching videos, etc.--to settle into wearing it, and that's been the most useful, I think. It's also easy to clean/keep fresh. The case for it is durable with an airhole so it doesn't get nasty sitting in there

Changed my bite
In theory I like the slim design as an alternative to the kind of guards you have to boil, but this just didn’t work for me. The adjusting feature is nice but the part you bite doesn’t mold to your back teeth, so certain parts of my teeth hit it first and I couldn’t close my jaw the way I normally do. After wearing this for 3 nights (I gave it a fair shot) my bite felt off and it was like my teeth had shifted. I also had more pain where my crown is which is what I bought this to prevent in the first place. I do have pointier molars so maybe this is a better choice for people with flatter surfaces. Had this worked it seems like a good price for a reusable option as the material is thick and durable. I didn’t have trouble keeping it in my mouth at night even despite the fact I’m sometimes a mouth breather. Just not the right product for me.
