Nice but not epic
Perhaps it was because I went on a tour so it didn't add much, but in general it is good to have a small summary of a major attraction to bring instead of large tour book.

Extremely Good
I purchased this manuscript on a whim before our June, 2012 trip to Istanbul. I will say that it has amazingly realistic details about the church and it provides extrememe detail. This is well worth purchasing as a Guide and then as a memento as you go down Memory Lane in the future.

Light to carry, light on detail
We bought several of these pamphlets for our trip to Istanbul last summer. Although they are convenient to carry while touring and provide a nice quick overview of each venue, the text is frustratingly brief. I always ended up bringing out the Eyewitness Travel or Rick Steves guides (both of which were quite good, and complement each other) for more detail.

Wonderful
This brochure was very helpful in understanding the history and interior of this famous church. It is made for someone visiting the church for the first time.

Good tourist piece
Makes a nice on-site guide and a durable souvenir, but excessively scanty in relation to the very, very long history and romance of this oh-so remarkable edifice that has endured wars, pillage, and earthquakes for almost 1,500 years.

Helpful guide.
Nice overview of one of the great sites in Istanbul. Helpful for people not familiar with the place.

Wonderful Laminated Pamphlet!
This is such a nice, laminated copy... it was a favorite to distribute and use during our visit.

Buy a guide book
I thought this would be a pamphlet but is just a laminated foldout. The picture detail is good but buying one of these for each of the main sights in Istanbul would approximate the cost of a entire guidebook. A guidebook would lack the nice foldout picture but would offer so much more information while also detailing the same points made in this item.
