Well made product but returned as I found it for half the price elsewhere.

Many pool ladders/handrails are secured in place by wedges that clamp against the ladder tubes. Over time, the wedges dent/crush the tubes and this allows the ladder to wiggle. This can be fixed, for a while, by tightening up the wedges (there is a bolt that holds the wedge in place). Eventually, however, the tubes become so dented that this will not work anymore.One solution is to buy a new ladder or handrail, which is pricey. The other solution is to buy a plug. The plug is hammered into the tube, restoring it to the original shape and also preventing the tube from being crushed again. The plug is permanently in place, so you would need one plug for each tube.
