Not sure if I received a defective unit but the tension in the top half of the boom arm was so tight that it would not stay in the position I placed it. It would always just stand up straight. Which also led to having my fingers and hand getting crushed in between the metal, which also led to a blister. Seems like it is sturdy and well built, but it did not work as it was supposed to. Also, the instructions were very limited. There were pieces not mentioned. There was also no information on how to contact the company, which contributed to my one star rating.

The absolute worst Mic Arm you could buy. It seems like a cheap knock off of a real mic arm. It can not hold any weight on its own let alone a microphone. The metal was slightly warped in areas causing the small plastic bits that were meant to maybe be a locking mechanism to fall out. It wasn't damaged in the mail either. The box it came in was in perfect condition. I thought maybe I could just use this for a little while and get a better one later, but its so bad I'm ordering a different Arm and having it sent over night. This Mic Arm belongs in the trash.

Extremely dissatisfied. The arm lacks any sort of locking mechanism. You have two options for arm position. Fully extended or fully retracted. The arm also clamps fingers or anything else quite easily between the center pieces. Would not recommend at all.

That is a great fit in my room. I really liked it with using my blue yeti microphone. Perfect product!

Worked for two weeks. Boom snapped at one of the joints. Metal used in product is extremely thin with plastic connectors Would not recommend.

After searching several options I chose this boom arm. Since reviews were mixed on others, I thought I'd spend a bit more on this one, especially since it touted compatibility with the Blue Yeti. However, the adapter does not thread tightly (slightly wrong diameter) and does not hold the mic securely. As a result, it dropped my mic, twice. Not cool. Also, the tension is pretty tight, and not adjustable, so a lighter weight mic will not likely give it enough counter balance weight. Returning. How disappointing.
