LEXIVON 1/2-Inch Impact Socket Adapter, 1/2" Female x 3/4" Male Increaser | Chrome-Molybdenum alloy steel = Fully Impact Rated (LX-401)

Never thought I'd need a 3/4" adapter until I ran into a tricky ball joint replacement on my Mercedes GL that needed a 36mm 12-point socket. This adapter was a lifesaver - hooked it up to my 1/2" breaker bar and it handled the job perfectly. The build quality is solid, and I like that it's got that spring-loaded ball detent that keeps the socket from falling off. The chrome-moly steel construction feels super sturdy, definitely not like those cheap adapters you find at discount stores. Sure, it's a bit pricey for an adapter, but when you need the right tool for the job, especially on German cars where everything's gotta be just right, it's worth every penny. The rust-proof coating is a nice touch too, since my garage tends to get humid.

Strong and durable reducer. I’ve been using it with my 1/2” drive impact because I couldn’t find a huge socket that was 1/2@ drive and I don’t have a 3/4” drive impact.

This adapter worked just fine with my 1/2" drive impact gun & torque wrench working with a large socket with 3/4" drive. The tool is heavily built up with extra metal, especially around the 1/2" drive. The only issue I had is that the hole for the detent on the 1/2" drive is not tapered. It popped right off of my torque wrench with a ball detent but it wouldn't come off my impact without poking a tool through the hole.

I have a set of 3/4" sockets and sometimes need to use them on my 1/2" impact. This works perfectly. Should have bought it when I originally purchased my socket set few years ago.
