This Is A Great Replacement Battery For My Black and Decker Drill Set
My original Black and Decker battery for my 14.4v drill and flashlight set had finally gone bad. I checked at the Black and Decker Authorized Repair Center for a new Black and Decker 14.4v battery and they are still available at $50 each. I thought that was high for a Ni-Cad battery and looked here on Amazon for a replacement aftermarket battery. I found this battery and read the reviews. Almost everybody was happy with the performance of this battery. I purchased one for myself and gave it a three hour charge before trying it. It definitely has the power and now I have a drill and flashlight set I can use again. I saved some money from the Black and Decker prices. I highly recommend.

Makes my old 14.4V Firestorm drill useful again
PROS: o Affordable way to resurrect an older cordless drill o Fits just as good as OEMCONS: o None so farI have a newer 18V Ryobi which I like, but while building a shed, it would have been convenient to have one drill with a drill bit in it, and the other with a driver bit. Now that the shed is nearly done, I found the old Firestorm cordless drill in a box of stuff that was packed away, and got on line and found these batteries. Ordered one and charged it with my IMAX charger and I am now able to have two drills so I can do exactly what I described. Saves a ton of time and frustration changing the drill and driver bits. So far, I am very pleased.

it works fine
Works fine but doesn't fit tight in the charger..... i put a shop towel under the back side when i put it on charge and it helps hold it in place

Good Product
Good Product, reliable service and product that fit without modifications. Too bad DeWalt was going to adapt one of your Battery to work. Odd point is the last I remember both are made in the same plant in N.C. But that was 20 years ago, you don't know any more???

It fits my reciprocating saw like a charm
I had purchased are reciprocating saw firestorm a Goodwill for only $10 but the original battery was dead. I was not able to find another original battery locally so I searched on Amazon and I found this battery it arrived yesterday I charged a lock the in it works like a charm I didn't have any trouble slide it in and out like everybody else sees and is performing same as a regular battery the only difference is much cheaper. It arrived in time perfectly package it works perfectly I have no complaints.

IT DOES EXACTLY WHAT IT IS SUPPOSED TO DO AND JUST AS GOOD AS THE B&D
I BOUGHT THIS PARTICULAR PRODUCT AFTER PURCHASING 2 OF THE REPLACEMENT BATTERIES FROM B & D WHICH DID NOT GIVE ME ENOUGH POWER TO FINISH A JOB BEFORE GOING DEAD. THEN THEY BOTH JUST FINALLY BOTH JUST GAVE OUT. I THOUGHT IT WAS THE CHARGER, SO I CHECK IT WITH MY VOLT METER AND IT WAS WORKING FINE. CHARGED THE NEW BATTERY IN NO TIME WHATS SO EVER. VERY PLEASED
