There were perfect for my use case! I needed a mobile setup for tapestries for creating aesthetic rooms, basically just running lines between these things. The build quality seems just fine for something like that, with a big contact patch and the hand levers to get them locked in. The hand levers also have almost kind of a downward sloping hook-shape where they meet the pole, which is PERFECT for looping/hooking lines. Plus I like orange. They look great. My only regret is that I went through a lot of locking extension rods which were closer to something you'd use as a shower rod before I learned that these were a thing. These ones have essentially a full metal core, as opposed to plastic internals even on other kinds of metal rods, and they set up and release SO MUCH FASTER.

This is an excellent tool, and it's well designed! You can shrink it or extend it quite far, and the squeeze handle has just the right amount of pressure to hold things without breaking them. The feet can be placed at any angle which is nice for sideways applications. This is perfect for holding drywall in place against the ceiling. (It would be hard to use this to raise the drywall in the first place, but you could do it if you really wanted to. Personally I would have a helper raise the drywall, and then use the pole to hold it so they don't have to stand there.) This is great for holding cabinets in place during a kitchen remodel, or to hold the range vent while you attach it. This can also be used to press a shower panel against the wall while the glue dries. And I like that it comes with a carry-bag.

These are good, but not great. They definitely feel like they’ll be around for a while.

I’m using these support poles for plastic sheeting while painting. I may have other uses for them but not yet. They expand to 10’. Are really sturdy up to about 9’ then start to get a little wobbly. They function well. Both sides have pivot feet and so far appear to be non marking. Only down side is they’re heavy. Carrying bag is included.

These are great, but I am worried they wont hold up to heavy loads. (E.g. the oversized microwave in my kitchen)

These support posts are great. They will be extremely helpful when I start replacing sheetrock. They are very well made and they extend out tall enough to easily reach the ceiling. They are very easy to use and they feel very sturdy. This is a great value that will provide so much help. I would recommend these.
