We bought these for an event because the small paper plates don’t hold much. We had a potluck and wanted people to be able to put plenty on their plate. These are sturdy and strong with lots of room.

These plates are well worth their price. After searching high and low, I found these plates and they included more than 100. They are great for everything from lunches to prepping dinner. Definitely worth trying them out.

I bought these Vplus compostable oval plates for a dinner at home because my usual 10-inch plates couldn’t handle multiple dishes. Pros: Heavy-duty: No leaks or flex, even with saucy and hot foods Generous size: The larger oval surface fits multiple items comfortably Microwave- and freezer-safe for quick reheats or prep Compostable bagasse material feels eco-friendly without feeling flimsy Great value for bulk hosting (I used them for a big dinner and had plenty left) Cons: I wish there were a true 12-inch round option—round would look nicer on the table and offer a bit more usable space than the oval The raised rim slightly reduces the flat area for oversized items Bottom line: Excellent quality and capacity for parties and big meals, with the bonus of being compostable. We work long hours and dinner resulting in a ton of dishes is not something we enjoy doing. Typical disposable plates tend to be too small for our family "and" most of them are crap quality that will be around longer than I am alive when they are tossed out. Great, large, sturdy compostable plate with a great price point!!!

I ordered these plates for a party. I was hosting 20 people who would not be able to sit at a table to eat and would have to hold their plates on their laps. To complicate matters, I was serving a hearty and heavy soup made with sausage, chunks of tomato and three-cheese tortellini. Along-side the soup was a tossed salad and chicken salad and rolls. My plan was to have the plate double as a tray and a dinner plate. I served the soup in cup-style bowls (like you get at Panera or an ice cream shop). I sat the soup cup at one end of the plate then loaded on a heap of chicken salad, the tossed salad and a sandwich-sized roll. My guests were able to eat the soup from the bowl as it rested on the plate and dig into the salads. There were NO spills, NO breaks, NO leaks and NO collapsed plates!! We were impressed!!
