This lamp is really stylish and modern.It's great that it comes with both a foot control and a remote so you don't have to fumble around with trying to get under the shade to turn on or off the light.It was very easy to assemble and you don't need any tools to do it, just some basic knowledge of how to put things together.I think it is great how you can not only adjust the brightness (which is a pretty good brightness at the highest level) but you can also change the colour temperature and it even has a nightlight mode and a timer so you can set it to turn off after a certain amount of time.It is of sturdy construction and doesn't wobble or tip easily.It does come with a bulb but unfortunately does not include the 2 AAA batteries that are needed for the remote.

I'm going to get my cons out of the way right off the bat. The instructions included for pairing the remote to the bulb are fairly inaccurate when it comes to specifics, but they give you enough pieces that you should be able to trial and error your way through it.Now on to the pros. Having multiple lamps all synced up is awesome! The remote control aspect is very convenient, and it's nice that you can control them individually as well. The lamps are very easy to assemble and, other than some grief trying to pair multiple lamps to the same remote, easy to operate. Having the color shift is fantastic because you can get brighter and cooler light during the day, and dimmer and warmer light at night. I always get cozy in bed and then dim them down and eventually turn them off. It's so nice to not have to get out of bed to turn out the lights!

Update: I received a message from the seller and was offered a replacement lamp. I’m very impressed with this level of customer service and the prompt response to the issue. Fingers crossed that I receive the new lamp and do not have any issues with this one!Original Review: I bought this lamp for my baby's nursery and it was great for about a month. I really loved the different settings: choosing the brightness, ability to dim, have a timer, and control with the remote. It was so nice to be able to dim the lamp for night time diaper changes and feedings. After about a month of constant use, it started flickering. This is super frustrating and distracting. There is now only one setting it works on- (the brightest) without flickering, so we can no longer use it as we need. I really did love this lamp and thought it was a great purchase until it started malfunctioning.

We bought two of these lamps to flank a basement TV about 14 months ago and they've been fantastic. Stylish, affordable, super easy to assemble and we love the dimming/color options. We're now in the process of creating a home office and needed something to add some ambience, so we bought another one.Getting the remote to pair was tricker than I remember this time around, though. There are lots of reports in these reviews about remotes not working -- and I can understand why. Simply, the instructions on this page say to tap the 'Group 1' button 3 times after powering on the light. That did nothing for me but create frustration. So I messaged the seller and they replied within a couple of hours, giving me the same instructions. Thankfully though, they also included a more comprehensive instruction guide.So, to successfully pair the new lamp to the remote, I had to HOLD the 'Group 1' button down for 3 seconds. It worked straight away.Here are the instructions (and please note that I had to use the second method for a single lamp):Total pairing-1.Turn off the lamp power for more than 10 seconds.2.Turn on the power, turn on the lamps, and long press the 'Full ON' button on the remotecontrol (complete within 3 seconds after the lights are turned on).3.The light flashes to indicate that the total code matching is successful. (This fixture is in the total switch pairing mode: no grouping, three groups of switching functions the same.)Group pairing-1.Turn off the lamp power for more than 10 seconds.2.Turn on the power, turn on the lamps, and long press one of the groups of 'group1---group 3 on the remote control (completed within 3 seconds after the light is on).3.The light will flash to indicate that the pairing is successful. (This fixture is in group pairing mode: the remote control 'group 1-group, you can only control the on and off of this lightwith the corresponding group button.)Good luck!

i have multiple of these. one of them stopped working after about 8 months, well outside the amazon replacement window, but the seller replaced it free of charge with no hassle at all.

I've had this lamp for like six ish months. So far it's been pretty good, paired fine with the remote. I like the adjustments I can make to brightness and warmth.About a month ago, after we had a power outage, the light started turning itself on in the middle of the night after an hour of being turned off by the remote. No matter how many times I'd turn it off with the remote, it turns itself back on and of course I don't have the manual anymore. The only way to keep it off is by using the floor switch. Minor annoyance.
