Classy, bright, easy to install
I'm one of those awful people that don't usually leave reviews, but I bestirred myself for this item. These are great lights, very easy to install and use. Two features I'd like to highlight are 1) that it's very easy to connect the dimmer and on/off switches in series so that you can set the level of the lights and then simply turn them on and off, and 2) that the product comes with ample cable management. As someone with OCD, I appreciate that. I mounted my lights using the adhesive strips rather than screws, and so far they've been holding up just fine.

Great kit. Totally changes the kitchen
Nice kit. Has lots of extras, tons of adhesive mounts and wire holds. I installed it about 20 minutes, as soon as I opened the box. I love the under cabinet lighting look. Much better than overhead light. Dim for mood, bright for cooking. Great kit for the price.

Cutomer support is fantastic - best I have ever encountered.
My project was under counter lighting in the kitchen. My wife wanted LED lighting with all the features including selection of color temperature. That would have cost over $600. After some searching and discussion, we decided we could buy both the 3000K and the 5000K Litever products to achieve color temp options, and the cost would be about a third of her original choice. I was initially impressed by the physical appearance of the product. The 12" light bars are made of durable aluminum, and the wiring is sturdy with molded connectors that are apparently a standard within the CCTV community. That means additional wiring options are generally available online, but probably won't be needed because extension cables are provided with the kit. The product has a very professional appearance. One thing I liked was that all the components could be plugged together to insure they worked correctly before installation. In less than a minute, I had the light bars connected and was testing the dimmer function. Everything worked as expected. Two things to note. One feature description said that you could either plug the power pack into an existing outlet, or if you wanted to direct wire it, you could cut of the plug from the power cord. This is not necessary since both types of power cords are provided; one that plugs into an outlet, and the other that has stripped wires for a direct connection. Another note is that there are molded plugs supplied with the kit, but no description of their function. After some thought, it became obvious to me that the plugs are terminating plugs. Since the light bars are plugged together end to end, and since they are all made with the same with a connection wire at both ends, the last light bar will have an exposed power connector. The molded plug is there to attach to the last molded connector so that the 12V power is not exposed to external events that might short the power supply. After reviewing my layout plans, I started working on the install. The light bars are held in place by plastic clips that screw into the bottom of the cabinet. All the other cable dressing components use adhesive backed pads to secure wires to the cabinet surface. I decided to mount the power packs to the underside of the cabinet as well, but did not trust the adhesive components to hold so I cut a half inch strip from some aluminum sheeting that I had, and made a band that wrapped around the power pack, and then secured it with 3/8 inch screws (note that the major hardware stores do not carry wood screws shorter than 1/2 inch - the only screws I could find were sheet metal screws, but they work just fine). I also used some standard wire ties, and some wire clamps that screwed into the wood where the bundles of wires seemed heavier than what I thought the adhesive would support. None of this may be needed in your install since a generous supply of clamps is included in the kit. Litever has done a super job of anticipating installation issues and providing needed components. The install was made difficult for me because my 60+ years have reduced my ability to bend over enough to view the underside of the cabinets, and my bifocals forced me to crane my neck to focus. More than once I was trying to find ways to lay on the kitchen cabinet so I could look directly up at the work area to make measurements for hole placement. Other than my physical issues, the install went fairly smoothly. I followed the advise of another individual and purchased a right angle drill attachment to allow drilling in tight spaces. As it turned out, I only needed it for one of the routing holes that I drilled. I was a bit disappointed that I had to drill 1/2 inch holes. This was due to the size of the connectors. In fact, I actually had to make my holes a bit larger since I had to route two cables through the same hole to support both the 3K and the 5K light systems. Once the install was completed, I was impressed with the result. We could select to use only the softer 3K lights, or only the daylight 5K lights, or set the intensities for a combination. I did have a couple of minor issues that concerned me, and this is the best news. I contacted Litever customer support to tell them that I seemed to get a bit of interference with my AM radio. They responded right away to let me know that this was not expected since the power packs go through FCC testing. They even told me that they went out to buy an AM/FM radio to see if they could reproduce the problem. They could not, but I was able to resolve my problem by relocating my radio an additional 6 feet away from the light components. This type of interference seems to be common with dimmable LED lights. My situation was not bad, but it was noticeable. Fortunately, either moving the radio or reorienting its antenna can resolve the problem. The best part of this story is that Litever customer service was exceptionally responsive. It is clear to me that they want you to enjoy their product, and they are willing to help you resolve whatever issue you encounter. I have had additional interactions with the company, and they have always responded quickly and with sincere concern to make you a happy Litever customer.

Perfect under Cabinet lights
These lights were very straight forward and easy to install. The light quality is perfect and lights the entire counter space. I liked them so well that I purchased another set as a back up.

Very useful kit for a kitchen
Our kitchen was dark. And I always wondered why the main (ceiling) light in a kitchen usually seems to be in the center of the area. For the room that might be okay, but as a working light it doesn't make sense, because on the countertop you are working in your own shadow, because the light comes from behind you. Under-cabinet lighting gives the required light, coming from the front, directly on whatever you are working on. Should be standard in any kitchen, in my mind. This product works great. I drilled small holes in the bottom of the cabinets and routed the lights also to the top of the cabinets. So now we have lights under the cabinets, as well as indirect lighting against the ceiling. The original item had 6 lights, but I added an extension with 2 more lights, to make the indirect light on top of the cabinets spread more evenly, which works flawlessly. In fact, we rarely use the original ceiling light in the kitchen any more. The fact that these are dimmable makes them even more versatile, because we turn them up when working in the (open) kitchen, and turn them down when we are not, so they work as ambiance light, or can even work as a nightlight, when desired. Installation is pretty straightforward, but I do recommend making a plan drawing of how exactly you want them to avoid running into issues with where the individual pieces connect, and where you want to have the switch/dimmer, and where the power plug. You can configure the individual pieces in many different ways, so it can match all kinds of scenarios. This is a relatively late review; we've had and used the product for about a year now and never had any issues with it, so it was a good buy.

The kit includes everything you need and I was impressed to see the quality of the parts. Even the screws were stainless steel. The lights are well diffused and we are happy with the result.

Three times as bright as the lights I had before and at a reasonable price. Comes with everything needed including self adhesive wire holders so that the final set up is so clean that the only wire you see is the one that plugs into the wall. Hard wiring is also an option but it looks great with a plug in and a lot less work.
