Great breaker bar to unlock tight car lug nuts!
This is a great breaker bar to unlock the tight torqued lug nuts on a cars rim. Once I get them loose, I use a shorter ratchet torque wrench to remove the nuts and to retighten back to factory car specs. I only use this breaker bar to start loosening the nut and it does a great job. The handle is long enough and flexes also with a lot or torque. The chrome is nice and this bar is a great tool to have for your car. I rate this breaker bar as 5 Stars without being rewarded or paid. I purchased directly on Amazon like everyone else. Good to leave in your cars trunk just in case you need a longer bar to get a stuck on nuts loose without stripping it.

Worked a miracle on my car.
Wow did this do the trick. I was trying to get lug nuts off my old car and could literally not budge the nuts with all my weight using anyone of three different tire wrenches - one that came with the car, an extra from an old car, and one with four different sockets in the shape of a cross. I tried penetrating oil, tapping, and even heating - they were not budging. Ordered this tool somewhat suspiciously but desperate. Once I had this tool in hand, the lug nuts were loose in under a minute - just wow. I barely had to push and they were squeaking and turning. The tool seems very sturdy and well built. I didn't even need the socket extenders I ordered as the head on this tool extended the socket just enough to work perfectly. This is my new favorite tool (until this next tool I get that works of course!).

If i can't break it, nobody can!!!
(half inch drive, 30 inch length) this is a well made, heavy duty product. Used it to press out ball joints on a Trailblazer. I don't know how much torque it is rated for, but I can tell you for certain it will handle as much torque as you can throw at it. I used this with a 2 foot cheater pipe, I weigh 255 pounds and i am retard strong; i pushed, pulled and yanked it with all my might and it held up fine. Unless you're bigger, stronger, or using more than a 2 foot cheater on it, you ain't gonna break it. It does flex a good bit, but at 30" long that's to be expected. I did break something, though...I broke the screw shaft of the ball joint press I was using; it takes a tremendous amount of force to do that!!!

Yes, Performance.
I bought this 30 inch flex bar by Performance to remove a plug in my tractor engine to install a block heater. I could not move it with anything I had, and I have some big tools. After inserting the bar in the plug I put a 4 ft. Pipe on it for leverage, it still took plenty of tugging to finally hear a crack and the plug came loose. Very impressive and tough.

Good and was okay for the price
Works okay and good built. Great grip. I have to place a replacement for this because the first one I ordered was delivered by usps and its open on the side. The moment it was drop outside my door I pick it up and there was a hole at the side of the box where the and the tool is gone from inside.

Cheaper alternative
For the price point you can’t beat it. I and coworkers use this in a light and medium truck shop. We do questionable things with this particular bar and hasn’t snapped in half yet

Good bar!
So far, so good. Used it to hand turn (Just to be on the safe side) a 60 Buick 401 nailhead after 15 years in a barn. Shot some Kroil in the cylinders, let it soak a coupla days, put a 1" socket on it and gave it some horse pressure.... The bar flexed a bit and the crank moved! 2 rotations... Shot some Stabil Fogging Oil in the cylinders and all around the inside of both valve covers and had at it again... Two more rotations and she was slick as.... Well...pretty slick! Good breaker bar. As good as my snap on 24" -which coming from me is something! Wanted a longer one for more clearance/leverage. Besides... Lifetime guaranty. I'm good with that! I think I'll buy the ratcheting adapter though. Break it free first, then put it on and ratchet it off. Better way to go.

No way you can break this without using a 4 foot cheater pipe!
I bought this to remove the wheels from my RV that a tire store tightened up so tight I'm amazed the studs didn't break off. Since I no longer trust that shop, and I wanted to be able, if necessary, to fix a flat out on the road I bought this breaker bar to remove and then properly torque the fasteners so I didn't have to call Superman to remove a wheel. I had to seriously put some force into removing the wheels, but this breaker bar took what I guess was way over 400 foot-pounds of torque easily. What's great is it cost less than half of what a name brand like Craftsman or a third of what a Snap-on bar would have cost.

I use it to break tight fasteners when working on my car. It works as advertised. It is sturdy and provides a lot of torque. It is rated to up to 100 lb.ft. of torque.
