RapalaFishing Clipper

Work great! Bought them for ice fishing but use them all year. Cut the line perfectly without have to fumble around with a knife. Wear them around my neck. Whenever the family goes fishing I'm always on setup duty and makes the process faster!

Perfect to hang around my neck while fishing! Lanyard is just the right length, no more fumbling around for a pair of pliers! Good quality and great price.

I am very disappointed in Rapala. These look great and can be handy if you're not cutting braid. Straight out of the box, these would not cut 30 lb braid!

Solid, sharp and precise. I bought these to replace another pair of cheap clippers and was surprised at the quality. I attach the clippers to my boat bag and have readily available when I need to clip braid or mono. Lanyard is a nice touch. These are way better than the Mustad clippers.

I bought 3 of these to put in my tackle boxes, but was disappointed when I found I could buy them at Wal-Mart for less than $5 each. Shop around, Amazon does not carry best price on these. They are fine quality, but I still prefer the old Angler's Pal, but they are getting hard to find.

This was a replacement to a pair I had lost but they are great to have in your tackle box, especially for someone whose fingers are not as nimble as they once were. The small hook attached is great for the occasional backlash as well.

A great little tool for fly fishing. I bought 3 of them. Just wish they came with a retractable device for attaching to my fly fishing vest/& or waders.

For clipping mono line this works just fine. It also has a small knife blade and a hook for cleaning out eyelets on jig heads.Where it comes up short, quite literally, is the cord length. I find it awkward trying to clip the line at chest height. A slightly longer lanyard seems like it would make it easier to work with.I also found that it struggles to cut braided line. I ended up using the knife instead of the clipper and even that took a few tries.
