Does the job I needed it to do, and it good value for money.
Purchased this for my PC as it doesn't have built in wi-fi and I was no longer going to be able to connect thru an ethernet connection as I was moving it to another room away from the router. I've just received the product and it was very easy to use and the driver to use the product was quickly installed on my pc. My router is downstairs at the front of the house, and I have moved my PC upstairs towards the back of the property, and the range is excellent so far. Whilst I've only used the product for about 45minutes, I have had a consistent full strength signal and doing an internet speed test, it doesn't show that I am loosing any speed despite being further away from the router. There were cheaper options available, but as I intend on using the product using the USB connection cable and having the receiver hanging directly out of a USB slot on my PC, this was definitely well worth the money.

Honestly best upgrade I've done so far
As a fan of all things pc builds and a huge fan of mw2019(it's a FPS game) I strive on having good WiFi and if I don't well I start loosing my mind when I bought this I had recently upgraded WiFi which supports WiFi 6 and I figured my pc will be bottlenecked by the current WiFi card I had installed so I had gone ahead and bought this and my oh my this is a so far the best investment I've made into my current build (but there will be many more upgrades to come) but this is well worth your money if fits nice and tight the signal strength is amazing and the consistency of the WiFi speeds is amazing amazing stability amazing performance nothing can go wrong so if you're still on the fence about getting this get it even if you don't of the best of WiFi this will surely take more advantage of whatever WiFi you have and if you do go to upgrade your WiFi you won't have to make two purchases

Good Value - But Weak Signal
I purchased this mini-pci card to set up Wi-Fi signal in my flat. The card is so tiny that even when it's plugged in right next to my graphics card, it doesn't block the fan. The included antenna is really tiny though. The card itself doesn't produce much of a signal so you get 1 bar of signal where another Wi-Fi card I have will get full bars. However, this card does work well and is a good value for money. Installation into windows 7 x64 was flawless. This card is Rev. 2 so perhaps some of the other bad reviews were for Rev. 1? The drivers on the mini cd are exactly the same as the ones you can download so everything is up to date. I recommend that when you install the drivers that you select "use windows to manage connections" because if you don't then the TP-Link seems to reset everything to it's own settings. This card doesn't drop signals like some other cards I've owned so it will be useful for those who are playing games. I ordered an additional antenna. The "TP-Link TL-ANT2405C 2.4GHz 5dbi Indoor Omni-Directional Antenna," which has a 2 meter cable and boosts the signal up to 4 bars. [link below]. I highly recommend this antenna as it's under a fiver shipped. It really high quality, does exactly what it claims to do and has a coated magnet in the base so it sticks tightly to the top of my computer case. You could spend the £15 on a more expensive card but it's not going to work any better than this card plus the antenna would still be tethered to the back of the card which gets in the way of the DVI cable and being hidden away in the back always diminishes the signal strength. Otherwise except for a few minor drawbacks, I'm very happy with my purchase all around and I recommend this if you're on a tight budget. Amazing. Does what it says on the tin. 800Mbps from the 3rd floor. Exceptional performance.
Amazing. I have tried so many Wifi adapters to get my upstairs PC working better. I have 900Mbps Broadband but was getting only 160-200Mbps on my existing adapter. Initially the new Archer installed and then would not connect or see any Wifi networks. I suspected a WIN10 driver issue to I discarded the driver supplied with the device and downloaded a new latest one from TP Link support site. Bingo 800Mbps !! Just the best Wifi dongle ever ! I also tried it on my WIN 11 laptop with the original driver and it was fine. So the initial issue was a WIN10 driver issue but its all perfect now. So if you experience any issues don't worry just go to TP Links driver download and get the latest and you won't be disappointed.

Does the job
Worked perfectly straight out of the box, for my Windows 11 PC. No need to mess around with downloading a driver: that happened automatically. Speed is good: it keeps up with my full-fibre connection. No outages in 3 weeks of use so far.

adapter that brings modern wireless performance
⭐ Overview The TP-Link Archer TX20UH is an AX1800 Dual-Band Wi-Fi 6 USB adapter that brings modern wireless performance to devices that lack built-in Wi-Fi 6 support. It connects via USB 3.0 and uses dual high-gain antennas plus Beamforming to improve signal strength and range. 👍 Pros Great speeds that supports Wi-fi 6 with dual-band speeds up to ~1201 Mbps on 5 GHz and ~574 Mbps on 2.4 GHz — great for streaming, downloads, and basic gaming. 📡 Improved Coverage High-gain antennas and Beamforming help pull in weaker signals from farther away, especially helpful in larger rooms or when the router isn’t nearby. ⚡ USB 3.0 Performance USB 3.0 interface avoids the bottlenecks of older USB 2.0 adapters, giving faster data throughput when paired with a USB 3.0 port. 🔐 Modern Security WPA3 support adds up-to-date encryption protection for your connection. 🧰 Easy Setup Plug-and-play with drivers included, and TP-Link’s flexible dock and cable help you find an optimal placement. 👎 Cons ⚠️ Occasional Stability Issues connection drops, ping spikes, or temporary loss of signal, especially during gaming or high-stress network activity. Some of this seems related to drivers or configuration rather than the hardware itself, but it’s worth noting for demanding use cases. 📦 Size & Setup The adjustable high-gain antennas and external dock are great for signal quality, but they make it larger than ultra-compact “nano” dongles. takes up more desk space or needs careful placement. 🧠 Who Is This Best For? ✔ Users with desktops or older laptops that need Wi-Fi 6 support ✔ Those wanting better range and speeds than older Wi-Fi 5 adapters ✔ People wanting a straightforward external upgrade without opening a PC ⚠ Not ideal if you need rock-solid competitive gaming wireless performance or absolute maximum throughput—wired Ethernet is still the most reliable choice there. 🏁 Verdict It’s especially worth it if your PC currently has weak or outdated Wi-Fi. Just be aware that some environments and driver setups may require a bit of tweaking to get the most stable experience.

Crap
Sending this piece of crap back. Worked fine for about 3 days, starting randomly disconnecting and now doesn't even power on. Tried all my USB2 and USB3 ports on my PC. Doesn't work. My other devices work fine so it is this piece of crap that doesn't work

Extremely easy to set up and connected within minutes and my WiFi download speed more than doubled.
This is the third one I bought of this model to use with my living room laptop and extend with an USB cable closer to the window where the signal to the my router is stronger than trying to connect from laptop Wi-Fi card. Extremely simple to set up in less than 5 minutes. simply plug in the USB port, run the installation file (which i had already downloaded from the TP-Link site) clicked the downloaded file and my laptop is connected to my router with the dongle in a instant, tested the connection with Okla Speed and got more than twice the signal strength ensuring a much more stable connection and download speed increase from 1mb/sec to 25mb/sec and upload speed from 0.5mb/sec to 12mb/sec. The stand also helps extremely to find and point the dongle to the best direction to receive optimum signal strength and download speeds. 100% satisfied and can highly recommend this make & model.
