Do they come in black?

We only have white at the moment. It may have new model black color in the future.

Do i need alexa to detect lights on/off update on my phone, or is google assitant only eough?

Unable to get these connected. I have experience in these matters and have 2 other devices connected through this app.

Use smart life app. Turn power off and wait till light begins to flash. Then push the plus in the app to add a new device. It should see the light. There is a alternate way to connect if not it will walk you thru the process it should so if the light is flashing fast or slow. Follow the instructions.
