vancasso STERN DINNER SET

Ordered the first set of these to make sure color was a match for my table settings. Very elegant finish for unique shades of blue versatility. Liked them so much purchased a second set to have service for eight to use on dining table instead of breakfast setting as I had originally gotten them for! Work great in microwave and don't get too hot when handling although I always use a miter either way. Also great in dishwasher so far. We entertain a lot and all our guests have made comments about the unique color of blue and neat style of the dish shapes. Would recommend for personal purchase or as a gift.

Leaving a review after about five months of consistent use. I will start by saying that the package did arrive with one of the small bowls shattered. I contacted Amazon who told me I would have to return the entire package in order to have another package re-shipped in which I did not like this answer. I decided to reach out to vancasso directly, sent them pictures, and they assured me that they would ship me a new bowl in a timely manner. I was a little skeptical as I knew that the Boullt would be arriving from China and also they were asking me to send it in a very specific format as far as my address and things went. However, they did send me the new bowl within about two weeks And my set is complete! The quality of the bowls and plates are amazing, they work well in the oven as I like to keep my plates preheated before serving my dishes!!!

These are a fantastic set! Versatile, stunning and easily cleaned. My only negative is that in 10 months we have had a broken bowl, which I dropped(my bad) and 2 chipped plates. I hate that the set is already diminished and I need to buy replacements.

Solid dinnerware with a pop of color. Easy to clean, look great on the table.

I saw the reviews and hoped the people saying the bowls were broken just were unlucky. Nope. I should have known better. So the dishes are amazing looking, I’ll give them that. But wow! What illogical, irrational packaging! First- Amazon… what the h3ll?!?! They just stuck the manufacturer’s box in one of theirs that was obviously too big and they didn’t put anything around it to protect the inner box. I opened the Amazon box and could tell stuff was most likely broken. You can see how the inner box slid back and forth and can see crush marks from the side to side movement. (In person the “accordion” squished lines are more obvious than in the photo) But the worst part- how the manufacturer packs them. Inside their packaging there was a fair amount of foam on the top. But then I pulled the dishes out and see the bowls, which the manufacturer packs at the bottom of the box, with the weight of all the other dishes on top of them, and yup… all 4 bowls broken. Oh and the bottom foam was very thin. (Why have lots at the top and barely any foam at the bottom?) I highly recommend you DO NOT BUY THIS SET UNTIL THEY FIX THE PACKAGING! Oh yeah…. The description said in the last bullet point, “we promise we won’t let our customer suffer any loss.” First of all, LOL! Second of all they don’t sell the bowls separately and apparently have no way of doing that to help a customer who has “suffered a loss”. Amazon did good by me and refunded the order. But it seems nuts that this happens so often but the manufacturer won’t fix the packaging, and now I have a beautiful set of dishes and crappy old bowls that don’t match. Fricken annoying!

I was impressed when I got my box and a plate and a bowl were broken. Company said not to contact them unless you bought directly from them. Amazon had replacement for me very quickly without headaches. I love the color and that they are square.

Only 3 stars because of shipping, the bowls and plates look nice but one of them were broken . .. I would hate to do a full return for 1 item . I’m not sure who to contact , Please send the 1 bowl that’s in the video and pic . .. after that , I’ll give these plates 5 stars …

Love good quality Easy to clean

I can simply say that i love the pattern(s), coloration and overall sturdyness of the plates & bowls. They feel amazing. I am loving them. The suggestion that i would like to make to the vendor, please upgrade or improve the packaging method. I have ordered a set in blue, and from the complete set of items, 3 of the 4 big serving plates were broken inside the styrofoam encasing. From the 2nd set in red, one of the small desert plates was as well broken...

I will definitely give 5 or more stars this dinner set is Amazing. The quality is fantastic I also ordered the cups to match and coffee cups. Yes I can say it’s a lovely colour and they do other colours. I would definitely recommend this. Look’s great on the table aswell
