Works great! Install drivers for it to work...
Works great. I did have to install the driver by doing it through the Windows update and device manager since I don't have a cd/dvd drive. Afterwards, it worked as intended. No issue.

I almost returned it***Update***
Great customer service!!! I was contacted by the seller and they refunded my money for all the problems I had. I really appreciated their efforts to make it right by me.. I wouldn't hesitate to buy from them again! I installed this card in my P.C and it didn't work. The instalation disc did NOTHING. I took it out and boxed it up and requested a return.. A few days later I did some snooping online and found a instalation program that sounded like it may work.. So I re installed it and downloaded the driver and it did the job. It works! But it was a huge pain in the butt.. And honestly.. If I didn't really need it...I would have sent it back out of spite. Be prepared to waste some serious time getting it to work

This should have worked
Installation went fine, but my Dell XPS topology would not all subsequent access to the ports. Because of the orientation of the ports on the card as up and down the adjacent architecture of the machine will not all the USB plugs to be inserted. Sideways would have worked. My machine did not like having this card go in, think about it, and then go out. Scrambled it's brain for a few reboots. Update: 03/01/2023 The manufacturer has reached out to me with offers to switch products or get credit for this one with other products. I am glad they reached out. I think that is a good sign. But like so many one-star reports here my issues were with the physical geography of my desktop. Others have the same issues. Obviously, a lot of people are satisfied with this product, but I never had a chance to see it actually perform. I did need a few reboots to flush the drivers out of my system after I removed the critter.

defective USB card but perfect customer service
One USB A port did not work from the start... Oh well, i had enough ports at that time. Now, six months later, the whole card stopped working. What can i say? Update (11/20/2025) After above review I was contacted by the seller with an offer to replace the defective card free of charge. I accepted the offer and they sent me a replacement card. I am giving them four stars - because defects in products can happen. The important thing is how the seller handles it. In my case they did an awesome job standing behind product they sell.

Works out of the box with Windows 11. Not flimsy.
No drivers needed. Windows 11. Installed, rebooted, and good to go. Everything I've plugged in any of the ports is instantly recognized and dear Windows 11 beeps to let me know. There are cheaper USB cards but these are current version USB, they're fast, and they work. My video card blocked the PCIe port so I installed an extender and this USB card worked! I bought two of these cards. They're not flimsy as others have said. At least mine aren't. The metal where the ports are is normal grade and thickness. I've worked with much more flimsy cards the last 40 years building PCs. You can see from the pics that the USB ports are a close fit, but in my case (literally), I carefully centered the card in the slots before securing the card. All USB cables I've plugged in fit no problem.

Great card
Great card. No need for drivers with Windows 11pro but, you may have to change your "USB selective suspend setting" to disabled in, Power Options / Advanced settings.

flawed installation process.
Disappointed in installation, but another reviewer found a fix. Physical installation was a breeze. No internal SATA or molex power connectors needed. However, the device showed up correctly in the device manager, devices would power up (like headsets, LED lit USB hubs, but no devices would be detected at all. ) The driver disc is a joke...only because I no longer have any optical drives. Back to the disc...printed on it is a URL for where to get drivers, but there are no drivers, just an endless loop of clicking on devices and downloads. I uninstalled from device manager and rescanned for devices, and again it installed, but no dice on devices. On to the fix from another user. Right-click on the device and "scan for changes." I work in IT as a LAN Admin, and I can't explain why this works....but it does. I just got lucky poring over the reviews to have found this one. Kudos to that guy. 3 stars because the average guy will plug it in, see it fail, and return it. that shouldn't happen for a perfectly good device. Now that it's working, I'm good to go. Satisfied.

Gives you enough USB ports, just be care with the drivers
Product works as intended, gives you plenty of USB ports to work with (seems really good for VR setups) for the price. If you have a modern windows install you can simply plug and play this card, the driver disc doesn't install very well per my experience and caused system instability. Using the Windows drivers made this work just fine so that's all anyone should need to do.

Works well, no driver installs necessary, but i found that sometimes if I remove a connected device from one of its ports, the whole card will error and give driver issues and won't work until pc restart.

Lo detecto de inmediato sin problema y sin actualización y funciona muy bien

So the card itself works perfectly. The problem is the space that has the USB ports connecting. So if you install it like a regular expansion card the back of the computer slot in which the card is installed is covered over with the fastening bracket. In my case I did minor computer surgery to get this thing fitting right. Here's what I did: The card fit in properly but it was nearly impossible to put the USB devices into the USB receptacle. So I sniped the mounting point of the metal reinforcement braket above and below where the card sits yet I kept the upper most part of the bracket intact so that the cards can still be secured. Anyway, now I've got some sexy (if I do say so myself) kit for providing USB Type A and USB Type C in one card with a whopping 7 ports, AND it doesn't require any external power source but rather gets its power from the PCIe card slot itsellf. I hope these directions guide you well. If you're a computer tech it is a minor inconvenience, if you're a newbie and someone new in the computer field then this might not be your best recommendation. Actually I would say emphatically, do not buy this card if you're not an experienced techie. If you are a techie, however, this will work wonders. When removing the securing bracket what i used was needle nose pliers and I rotated it from up to up to down and down to up until the reinforcing bracket cracked. You want to make sure that the mounting hole at the top of the bracket is still in place and usable so that the cards can still be secured into place, just without the vertical reinforcement. The quality is 10/10, its just an inconvenience getting it fit for the slot. I'd say go for it if you know what you're doing.

Ports are not aligned properly. If there is not enough clearance on the slot of the case , it won’t let you plug any USB.

It's a well made and well-priced little card, and it took longer to open my PC case than it did to install. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone looking to expand the number of USB ports they have.
